Yeah, but keep in mind that the Marvel comic and the toyline started several months before the cartoon.
thank the movies for that! yeah, my parents got married exactly two days before the first episode of g1 aired according to the 17th date (i swore it was the 21st, oh well)
Dude, Transformers was strong before the movies. The movies just turned a massively popular brand into an EXTREMELY POPULAR one.
wgho acares man you cvan't hear soundwa'vess cool ovice in the caomics and they're made out of paper swhat the hell There was a 23 year gap between 1984 and the first movie... so... what would you say was keeping the franchise afloat in the meantime, exactly?
Just want to make sure also... I think I'm right... This would be the 26th or the 27th anniversary? I was also thinking of using one of these for the song... Idk yet.... Maybe I can find a English song... x-D
May 8th of this year was the 26th anniversary of the first Transformers related media being available to the public
Well, that give me more time to make it my best music video ever... x-D Idk.... What would really be consider the real date...?!
May 8th is when the first issue of the Marvel Comic was released. While the Cartoon might be more recognizable to the casual public, it doesn't change the fact that comic came first (and was also advertised first). There's no real way to gauge what day the toys were first released, so the comic is our best indicator of "when the franchise began."
