Hello! ^^ I recently just joined here, and here's my first art post. One of my favorite characters is Wheeljack, and I'm sad that he always gets the short end of the stick when it comes to being in the cartoons.

XD gotta take matters into my own hands. ^^



Hope you like! I had posted somewhere else, and someone had told me that he looked too G1ish, and I completely understand. XD I'll have to find a way to make him more TF animated like.

 

I don't think he's too G1ish. Perhaps with some color he wouldn't supposedly look that way. (Or maybe his chin isn't long enough...  )

Wheeljack does get the short end of the stick.

An interesting take, The G1 thing maybe due to the structure of the legs.

 

I think this would look great with cleaner lines and color! Also, I don't see it being "too G1" at all. The stance just says Animated styling to me. I hope you follow through with this drawing.

 

Wow.. that's really sweet. Just needs some line clean up and color, and it's all sorts of win.

The curved lines and general un-blockiness is more Animated than G1. I wouldn't panic at all. The profile of the head is a little odd, although admittedly that might be due to Wheeljack's face...

 

I really hope the artist comes back around to interact, as it's been over a year since this thread was posted . . . .
