Found these in the Orem, Utah Toy's R Us. I didn't buy any, and the price pic I took was blurry, but they are priced at $2.99

Character art that is slapped on everything marketable is definitely my idea of exciting.

I dare somebody give one of those to their girlfriend/wife.

Nothing says "I love you" like goofy cartoon robots that turn into cars.

And by "Just around the corner" we mean "A month and a half away." :redface2:

...at least we haven't seen the Transformers Easter Licensed Merchandise yet.

Aww, just a generic message on each one? I was hoping for attempted character-specific Valentine greetings, as with the brilliantly inappropriate Movie Valentine cards someone posted up here last year. Whether it was Optimus Prime phoning it in with "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings, Valentine!", or Megatron's somewhat frightening "I am the GREATEST Valentine in the UNIVERSE!", each one was a one-way ticket to a lonely but hilarious Valentine's Day. Shame that the Animated ones couldn't put in the same effort... :(

Okay, well...for those in the UK; this might not be a common practice across the pond, but in most American elementary schools it's the norm for classmates to exchange valentines with pretty much everyone in their class (and their friends in other classes.) So yeah, you want a pack of multiple gaudy picture valentines so you have enough to go around. It's one of the few largely secular holidays they can get away with these days I suppose.

When I was a kid, we had the practice, but the licensed valentines weren't quite as overwhelming as they are today. Now it's all just character merchandising up and down the aisles; you get a bunch of business-card sized pieces of paper with some random cartoon character printed on them...uh..okay. I guess it makes about as much sense as anything else involved.

..now get off my lawn. :lol

Cool. I got last year's Movie cards(I don't think I got the foil ones though) and the 3D Movie Cards. If I see any, I'll probably pick them up.

I laughed myself stupid reading that, then the metal images almost killed me. Damn fandom ruining my childhood innocence.

    Still, I'm so buying these. I hope they're just dumb-corny. ^_^
