The first one's much better, makes the colours and the reflective surfaces 'pop' more than the second. :thumb

Great job on the model. What software are you using?

LOL, thanks venksta. you wont have to wait too long. I'm rendering here at work as we speak. So hopefully i'll have them up tonight. Like ZI said I had a lot of fun working on him and may have to run through the animated list for a while.

Hey redline, incase you see these, I got plenty of cons coming your way since you're such a Decepticon fan.

Great work dude! The robot mode rocks. :D

Btw, I noticed your using a square grid for the ground plane? Why not scale it up, so it extends pass the dome? That way you don't see some of the black space between the plane and dome. Also, something that might help. In the second truck render, there are two strips in up above. Are they physical polygons? If your using them for reflection purpose, you can set it up so they don't render, but still cast a reflection. Just go into the Visibility options for them, and turn off the "Primary Rays" under "Rendering". This little trick is really useful for when setting up a certain look for a render. :)

Thanks i'm glad you liked it.

Yes I noticed it after I rendered it and didn't feel liek redoing it or fixing it in photoshop. as you can see in the robot pics I did exactly what you suggested and thats why you can't see em anymore. great minds think alike :)

Once again thanks for the feedback everyone. I truly appreciate it all and I'm glad you guys are enjoying the artwork. I'm truly considering animating this guy but I can't stop medeling, lol i'm addicted, lol will be working on animated megs soon and will keep you guys posted.

Actually I didn't even think about it. I've never used it before. I'll play around with it and see what happens
