    Ebay:
I decided to create a new thread for these after the discussion started in the Gashapon thread.

Basically, these are Kinder Surprise-styled "eggs" containing stylised non-transformableTransformers Animated character figures. They are manufactured by a Netherland Company called BIP (they have the license to My Little Pony too).

Here is the egg, in original packaging, as you can see it's larger then a regular Kinder Surprise egg (and is sadly, not made of chocolate...)

    And here are the contents:

Every egg contains one random figurine, a sticker sheet (I found two varieties below), a catalogue, and some very horrible candy. They are the cheweable kind but are so hard you are bound to break your tooth into them.

Here are the toys from this batch of 6 eggs I got:

They are all made of hard, but not brittle plastic. There is Hasbro, 2009 stamped on them, so they are copyrighted toys. The paint details are quite nice, sculpt-wise there are a lot of differences per toy - some are quite shoddy, other (the vehicles and Starscream) are very detailed. Here are some close-ups:

    Bulkhead vehicle modes:

    Bumblebee and Ratchet robot modes:

As you can see, even Ratchet's war wound is there, albeit unpainted.

Bulkhead and Starscream, robot modes (Screamer is in the classics "stroking my chin and plotting" pose):

And to have some sense of scale, here they are next to some D&D miniatures. They would work well in a TF Miniatures game, with a proper base!

Here are the scans of the catalogue and the stickers. As you can see, the roster consists of all 5 main Autobot characters in both robot and vehicle modes, as well as robot modes of Megatron (Earth form) and Starscream.

I'll update if I can get more, sadly they are only available in one place in Budapest, which is on the outskirts of the city. I will try to narrow down to the retailer.

Well, that's another two Ratchets, and a Megs to add to my list to get!

If you get any spares of either of them, please bear me in mind man :)

Off to Google these, see if they're available anywhere else.

EDIT: The manufacturer's website says they sell to all over the world, probably most likely to find them in other bits of Europe though, I'm going to have to start paying attention in the sweet aisle!

Looks exactly like the sort of thing you'd find in Home Bargains/Quality Save if you ask me.

Yeah, I too thought of Starscream recolors into the clones... :)

As I said, at the moment only one place in Hungary I know sells them. But I hope I can find the retailer. They cost about 2$ per egg. If I get any surplus ones, I will add them to my sale thread!

The company is based in the Netherlands, so if anyone knows a TF Fan there, they are the best suited to find the manufacturer.

Be interested to know if there's a UK distributer for these.

And as Starscream appears to be in Skywarp's deco, that's technically another Skywarp to add to my list, damn completionism! :lol

They appear to be a Dutch company, which raises hopes of finding these in the UK. :)

Nope, seems to be his regular deco. Albeit the head is unpainted, but the maroon is there as well as the dark great plastic used for the body.

Aye, my Ratchet list's being worked through pretty successfully, but despite continuously buying Megs', his list always seems to be getting longer rather than shorter. :D
