Could this be the final paint version? Heerotoysmaker has another Starscream test shot, in yet another shade of blue, this one looking a bit more "Starscream" than others.

I expect that this will be the final paintjob; it's the closest one to the pictures in the TFCC magazine.

He's looking a lot less blue.

Show accurate colours? Fuck yeah! Now that's what I'm talking about!

SS just went from Deffinate buy to Uber-Deffinate buy!

While I plan on getting it pretty much no matter what, I definetly really like that color for him. Here's hoping for some (good) in-package pictures of an Animated Voyager to pop up soon. I never did get a reply from the guy that has Bulkhead in-package.

Lighting is key. Some colors, especially blues and greens, can be chameleons. I daresay from what I've read from the previous test shot review, this blue is probably the exact same blue as the others.

Either way, it looks good. A touch of YF-19, a bit of the YF-21 (beavertail!), and a dose of the Joker.

Hmm... I have batman on the brain... I wonder why...

So now we know the real reason Animated has been delayed, so Starscream could sort his wardrobe out!

I certainly hope it's not just lighting and that this is the one we get. The dark ass blue just wouldn't be right

In the end, I would have prefered a SS that was more classic in color. That way a Thundercracker repaint would make more sense down the line (at least be an option). Because damn that first SS version made for a beautiful TC.

This is by far one of the best TF series of toys I've ever seen... and that's over 20 years of collecting these dang things.

They have the attitude and look that kids demand in toys these days, but have a great homage for parents and collectors.

    A+++ for Hasbro!

I wonder if this toy has a hard time standing, seeing as the only robot mode pic is one of the toy on the ground.

From the dozens and dozens of other pics, protos and reviews we've had, he doesn't really. (I think due mostly in part to his long feet)

Agreed. I would like him except for the head sculpt.

I love the animated heads, especially Starscream's. It just says, "And before I kill you, I wanted you to know I shot your dog as well."

    Love the figure.

They got the colors right, I see. He'll look good with my Animated display in the future. That is, assuming I've switched back from my Prime/Megatron/Starscream grouping.
