Since I've already done a Minerva (in the BotCon class) and my own take on TFA Chromia, I figured I'd better fix up the CHMS Medic to make her look like the old G1 Fembot Moonracer. That original KO figure was in dire need of some paint.

I didn't have any reference art for this character to work off of, so using screencaps from the G1 cartoon I came up with the deco seen below. It's nothing too out of the ordinary, but I did venture into using some styrene for her little head wings. It helps to distinguish her from the other TFA Fembots.

I think I'm gonna have to just break down and do a TFA Firestar to fully complete the Arcee sisters at some point in the future.

This looks really nice. I'm really diggin' that Chromia too. Your paint looks really smooth.

So how's the quality on these KO Arcees. Recommend?

Changes on the head helps a lot and I echo the previous post, your paints job looks factory. I was going to paint those KO's myself. Does the paint stick well on these plastic and hows the rub?

    Thanks for the kind compliments.

In my mind, an Elita-1 toy already exists with Blackarachnia. Maybe if I ever pick up another one of those, Elita might get done. As far as Firestar, I figured she'd use the same frame as her other sisters.

Thanks. I definitely am a fan of keeping the paint apps smooth and simple enough to look like they came from the factory. I wanted her to fit in with the rest of the line. I justified that she had a little bit more detail in that maybe she could have been a BotCon exclusive

The plastic quality is fine, but the default paint is not. I have comparison pics attached to both customizing threads. I feel that they just don't work as the right characters as straight KO's.

I'm a fan of the little head wings I added. Adds a bit of spice to her speedy persona.

The paint stuck fine to the KO's. I used Model Master Acryl. Seemed like maybe there was less mold-release on these. The only rub issues I had are with the hip joints at the top of their legs. These parts are molded a bit too big and can rub against their waists. I had to sand and repaint twice in order to get clearance I was happy with. Otherwise, this mold is painless to disassemble, paint, and put back together.

Love the detail in the paint on the alt mode. Makes it look like she's going fast sitting still. And the head mods really help set her apart. Great work. :)
