    Dunno how many of you collect gashapon type stuff but looks like they are releasing a set based on TFA in Japan. Kind of cute.

    I so want these but I hope somebody will sell these as a complete box set. I've tried collecting Gashapons through vending machines before and its a nightmare. I've never been able to complete a set. I always come a figure or two short and end up with lots of duplicates. Then I have to hunt for the missing one on ebaY or hobby shops. The last Gashapon set I tried to collect through vending machines was a set of 7. Out of 41 capsules so far, I was only able to get 6 out of the 7 designs. I have 35 various duplicates of the 6 I already have. I swear, it's either than I'm so unlucky or that they always leave one out in a set in those vending machines to get suckers like me to give them more money.

    More additions to my Starscream checklist.

    I love that we are getting so much new stuff for animated from Tomy. I didn't expect them to do so much beyond just reissue the existing toys.

    These are cute. Gachapons, though, are diabolical. You see them everywhere, and they're only 100-300 yen. You figure, "hey, why not?" Then as the earlier poster said, you wind up with 6 out the 7 figures, a few dozen extras, and the memory that there are stores everywhere that sell complete sets at little to no mark-up...

    I remember a set of Marvel Universe Gachapons from a few years ago. I think I wound up with about 7 Phoenix figures before I finally got one Hulk.

    So it looks like there'll be two versions of each. The 'Cons each get a grey variant, but the 'Bots just show a blacked out sillouette. Wonder what they'll look like?
