    IIRC, they said they combine in jet mode, but didn't say whether they ALSO do so in bot mode.

    Wish they were bigger....but still very excited. Are they identical molds? Will their combined form be like Armada (pants and shirt) or like Energon Grimlock/Swoop with a new head? Oh the pasta-bilities.

    You do not recall correctly, they didn't mention which mode,all the speculation was pointing to it though. I am assuming Jet mode as well.
    They only said that they were "a fire and ice combiner".
    I have a vague suspicion that like the other 2-pack,they will have an uber-lame deco gimmick,clear parts in this case,as they emphasized "fire and ice" so much.

    Hoping it's a Season 3 preview or, perhaps, a direct to DVD episode to introduce the characters? That would rock, but I'm not sure Hasbro would foot the bill for something that awesome though...

    They are NOT identical molds. Granted, we didn't see the actual toys at Botcon, just the show models, but other than transformation, their details are COMPLETELY different.
