Well, I was wondering, if theres no way we can bring back tf:animated, how would you feel if they continued the series in japan like they did with g1?

EDIT: I am talking about a sequel series.

I meant as a continuation, a sequel series.

I'd rather them not. While it was awesome, for the most part, it's done. besides, I'd rather have Isenberg and Wyatt at the helm.

No. It was fun but it's finished now, it ended decently enough to be finished.

No. Transformers Animated were created by Derrick J. Wyatt. He did this series as his vision, his tribute to tf-fans.I doubt that Japanese creators manage to maintain his attitude of this seasons. We will get something goofy like Beast Wars 2.

I voted 'maybe', as I haven't been following the series since it left U.S. television airways. A continuation would be nice, but- call me a purist- unless they had U.S. English speaking actors doing the various voices, I would have zero interest in continuing to follow the adventures of these characters.

There were a lot of people who made Animated what it was other than Wyatt. Don't get me wrong, he was a big part of it, but Isenberg, Youngberg, Maramba, and all the writers and everyone else made it the special show that it was. I don't believe it would have the same magic without that very special mix of people again.

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of Japanese studios continuing American-developed and written shows (and American attempts to continue Japanese franchises are usually even worse). There is always a different sensibility at work, so it comes off as a different thing to me anyway. Do I trust another team to continue the story and keep the tone and characterizations consistent and true to the spirit of what the original team did? No. I really don't.

The only way it should continue in any form, anywhere, is if the original creative team is on it.

if even one person is missing from the original creative core, then let it stay over.

We won't get the same magic with any other mix.
