Woops, sorry about that, guess I shouldn't post when I'm half asleep. I can't believe we haven't heard anything about all this until now, hopefully we're get season 3 someday, if it's up to CN to release it you'd think they would've have released during the same time as ROTF

Update # 3

Well, I e-mailed Cartoon Network through their website but it seemed to be one of those generic e-mail systems where you just send comments and they use them "to improve the quality of programming" or something. I'm doubtful I'll get an answer. If I do I'll post it here. Otherwise, we're probably just going to be in the dark for while.

I do think we'll eventually get a whole box set of the whole series though. It took awhile for Energon and Cybertron and I don't think those shows were as highly rated as Animated.

For those who need the DVD's and have iPods

I've downloaded all of season 1 and 2 off of YouTube with this handy software called DVD Video Soft.

The software is free, and it installs in a couple minutes.

You need to make sure you download these first three softwares.

The first one will put clips from YouTube onto your computer. The second will download songs and audio, which can be dragged onto the songs section on iTunes.

The third one is the only one that can get videos on YouTube onto your iPod.

Once you have it downloaded, click on the shortcut on your computer screen. Choose whichever of the three options. Copy and paste a URL into the empty box. On the formats drop-down menu, choose the AVI version. Click download, and whatcha.

You can download whatever's on YouTube. If it tells you there's a new version, I recommend you download it. Mmkay? If you need assistance, PM me.

 

CN just had the rights to broadcast Energon and Cybertron, they didn't have anything to do with the DVD rights. Since they partially own Animated, tho...well, here's hoping they DO plan to release it. Meantime, lets have a few

Yet further evidence that Animated did NOT do well. If it was such a "hit" show then why aren't they even releasing the third season on dvd? That is an indicator of sales for seasons 1 and 2 more than anything. Money doesn't lie. If Animated had been a huge hit it would still be on the air with each season being released on dvd. This is just more proof regardless.

 

By that logic, no one must be interested in the 1966 Batman TV series, RID in the USA, or M*A*S*H* seasons 1 through 3 as a boxed set on DVD.

Furthermore, if they weren't selling, wouldn't places have Seasons 1 and 2 in stock instead of everyone being sold out?

I updated Realplayer today it has a tool for downloading videos, it's all automatic to boot, just click the Download this and it'll do it on it's own, you don't even have to wait for the video to finish loading or anything.

Does anyone know what name Fanoftransformers goes by on youtube now? He had the best quality videos. I'll have to snag 'em off youtube for the time being until the DVD is released.
