I also just got the Allspark Almanac II yesterday! So with the winner of my 80 percent meme not responding, and with me haveing more time on my hands, I was thinking I would let some people suggest a TFA character they'd like me to draw. The character can be from any continuity (except for TFA of course) and some good reference would be preferable. Here's hoping some people comment!" Though I do not promise to make the suggestion of everyone, I'll probably draw a few, perhaps the ones I think are more interesting than other suggestions.
I suggested someone draw the Animated Wreckers a few weeks back (Springer, Sandstorm and Broadside), but as you only specified one character, how about Sandstorm? Hes a brightly coloured, memorable G1 character with an extremely distinctive look, who I reckon would suit the art style perfectly:
If I were to draw Sandstorm at some point, I suppose if you were to go by TFA continuity, he wouldn't be a triple changer or have a helicopter alt mode. Would you be fine if he was more in tune with his dune buggy mode?
I definately agree. I'd love to see Sandstorm. Maybe a Beast Wars guy like Rhinox would be cool too though.
As the artist, its entirely your call, but personally I always thought the land mode only Autobot theme of Animated was needlessly limiting. I've seen several artists on here create some wonderful designs by waving it (such as Mustardwketchups Aerialbots), and theres no reason why you cant suggest that Wheeljack and Perceptor were able to modify several Autobots to include flight modes and non-insanity inducing triple changing. But, its entirely your choice - though without the Helicopter mode, you'll probably lose Sandstorms banana head, which is an essential part of his look.
If possible, Destron23, I'd like to see you draw Broadside, akin to his G1 self. I know there might be difficulties with his alternate mode, being an aircraft carrier, but he could still be a ship.
I think that you should draw "the last autobot" from the old marvel comics, he's a mystic transformers much like primus and unicron Or you could try to draw shattered glass megatron who was a repaint of ultra class energon megatron
Yeah, there'd be no continuity problems if he were a boat. But he exists allready! Both are very good ideas. The Last Autobot certainly need more love, infact, I like to think that the bot in the new movie trailer is him, but I doubt it.
