I like everything about the animated figs, with the exception of the heads (thankfully I can do something about that!) The vehicles, transformations, and poseability all make for a great addition to my collection. Starscream will be reincarnated as Classics Cyclonus about an hour after I own him!
Really looking forward to the show as well. It is good to hear the story line has a hint of originality to it! Thanks for the pics DESTRO!

I envy some folks' ability to not have their opinions swayed by such things as evidence, testimonials, or facts.

    ...

    or I don't. Wait, that's it - I don't.

Ball joint hips, hinge knees, ball joint shoulders, hinge elbows, swivel or ball jointed neck, swivel hands due to gimmick, maybe a moving torso. This is not a brick.

Thanks! (and to Wavelength, too, who missed out by one post)

That makes a bit more sense than how I had the dates in my head for Animated... so about 1/4 of the way through next year... damn, another 6 months to wait... and then we'll likely get another crippled release here. Damn.

Did they do a song called "Every single picture in this thread disagrees with you"?

Unfortunately, it's gonna look wierd when Bulkhead is shorter than Animated Prowl. I felt ripped off when I payed £10 for Classics BB, and £20 for something the same height isnt going to happen.

    *DISCLAIMER: It probably will happen*

(yeah, I know it wasnt a serious comment, I just thought it would be a good oppurtunity to explain my thoughts.)

I like him more now that he is a dwarf. To me the pictures we saw before just didn't have enough detail for something bigger. Not that I'll likely get him, but I'd definitely be inclined if he was on clearance and I had a few spare bucks.

Are you refering animated or the G1 toys. Cause the pictures show this 'red brick' could do cartwheels and more, possibly even do the macarena. Whereas G1 toys can't even sit up most of the time, let alone dance or do any form of gymnastics. Heck, or kneel for that matter. G1 Prime's head doesn't even rotate.

Now lets fastforward to recent toys. Classics starscream can only turn his head a tiny tiny tiny amount, his wings get in the way of poses, his knees barely bend past 60 degrees... Yet he's still full of win too, and even demanded many repaints. I'm going to wait to see a finished one in show and on shelves. While right now he's not my taste (although I do plan on buying all of animated) he may yet grow on me as I see more. But even in not liking his design (love the style, just not this design as of yet) no way in heck could I ever confuse that for a brick. Especially when what we started out with in G1 was brickformers. His size isn't my issue, nor his robustness, I'm just not sure on him without seeing the personality behind it more from the toon yet. Ratchet on the other hand, I love his beer gut look, but he also got a lil more character exposure in the little bit we've seen so far too. "I may be old, but I can still hear!" :D

As for the Offspring song, it hit me too.
"amazed" or "Don't pick it up." xD

Oh wait, I know which it is!
    Drumroll please...
"Cool to hate" from Ixnay on the Hombre. :ev:

    So
    is pretty damn close.

Someone really needs to take footage from animated and the 07 movie, and put it to that song, it's so fitting. Even toss in a G1 scene every so often for good measure. xD

Those pics really made a difference, looks like a worthy toy, not a deformed bowling ball.

Wow. Cool poses there. Didn't expect it to be possible due to his proportions, but I'm glad Hasbro nailed it.

I think this is one of Animated figures I like less, and even so, I like it a lot. Does it makes sense?

About its size ... it's not small. Yeah, it looks shorter than Classics Bumblebee, but Classics 'Bee is mostly hollow. I don't think Bulkhead is hollow.

Word. Didn't expect that comment after the pics posted by DESTRO.

    "Genocide"? :D

That would be Crunch. And I knew this show was inspired by Mighty Orbots once I saw the designs. I wish I could find episodes of that show.
