As always, late to the show but happy I came, my entry for the Sector 70 Transformers Animated Bayverse Auction for the American Cancer Society (Yeah, that was a well thought out title...) Sideswipe!

Created from TFA deluxe Blurr figure. The blades attach via a styrene rod into a hole drilled into the fists. The blades are made from the bladed parts of DOTM Sentinel Prime's shield. They can also be hand held as well. They can a;also be stored in bot mode on his back. I added the head from one of he recent DOTM toys (sorry, no clue of the name of the toy.) I filled in the hole in the hood with epoxy putty.

I love the body-it works amazingly well for ol' Stabby McWheelfeet. The head just doesn't do it for me though. Other than that, this is a nice piece of work.

Great choice of mold for Sideswipe - although something about that colourscheme really accentuates how well this mold would have been suited for a fembot repaint lol That's not a complaint, just that the slick silver really highlights the molds curvy lines :D

Wow, that was out of the left field stands from the old stadium. Now I gotta watch that movie. Anyway, the figure is a beaut, although, like everyone the head has something. The shape and size are good, but the eyes just seem too large and it clashes with the rest of the head. Sweet though, very sweet. Damn you're good!!

Ignoring the fact that the Robo-Power Sideswipe head is the most hilariously (and terrifyingly) horrible headsculpt to ever be put on a Hasbro toy, this looks pretty darn good. The silver is very nice, and the blades were incorporated well. It's that head that kinda ruins it for me.

:lol  Wow, so I'm the only guy who likes this head? I thought it was a great blend of the oversized head, faux anime style of TFA while being movie accurate. Ah, oh well. Thanks for the love, guys!

Heeey, I liked the head. Gives it a good animated look. I will say i agree about the eyes. If they were filled in with sculpt and painted in to look like big solid animated style eyes, it would probably be perfecto.

Great work! Great mold for SS. It totally makes sense, with the edges and the wheel feet. I like the head! It's a little terrifying, but it suits the project. Also all the movie faces are a little terrifying.

I dig the head. The eyes could be a little fuller, i see that now. But it works either way. What an awesome job, bro!!

Ignoring the fact that the head is too big and not in an animated style, I like it.

This is way cool, the only thing is I would do is cover or change the eyes. The head is fine, it's just...dem eyes.

The head just has too many sharp edges that it clashes with the smoothness of the rest of the body.

Hm..the head doesnt fit too much but the rest is great! Maybe a 2.0 will do? I have faith in you, even the metalic paint is awesome. ;)
