Alright...I've been working on this one for two months now...and although there is a few things I have to fix, I believe it is time for a few pics.

I present to you, Armada, well...actually more Micron Legend Jetfire in Alternators form.

I used the Skids/Scion mold for this project because I beleieved it closely resembled the Armada/Micron Legend toy in both frame and shape.

Since he can't be a Space Shuttle, Jetfire opted to be a NASA Communications Vehicle, so at least he can still be around the Space Shuttles.

I have ordered a bunch of satellite dishes, and radar dishes...and one of them will be placed on the roof, and double as either the weapon, or even maybe a shield (thanks superquad).

I know there are probably a few rough spots, andthings I have to fix...including the driver side mirror...which i accidentally ripped off...hahaha, but a little glue will fix that.

This is my first time working with not only a lighter color (white), which in itself was a pain in the butt...but also my first attempt at the Skids mold...which looked easy...but soon took a turn for the more difficult, escpecially in the backpack area...hahahaha

Let me know what you guys think...

I've never been a fan of the Armada characters or molds, but you have actually made these figures very cool. It is refreshing to see some non-G1 characters in the Alternator universe, and the execution is well thought out, with inventive spins on the Alt modes. Great Job!

I actually have the whole story of the Armada Alternators here in my head...its just a matter of typing it out. It all ties in with the BinalTech story and everything...and includes my other custom characters as well...

That Jetfire is certainly the most unique Alt repaint yet!

Somehow the head really is spot on for JetFire.

I'm not sure I like the choice of skids for him, but it looks good nonetheless.

    Man that looks great :thumbs2:

The head looks a little iffy, I know its suppose to be based on Armada Jetfire but it looks a bit out of place on an Alternator. Again just a little constructive criticism but looks great overall. Vehicle mode is rock solid though I really like what you did with the white paint and the NASA symbols and stuff :thumbs2:

I like it! I've got several ideas ruminating in my head on what to do with Skids, Prowl and Optimus Prime.

Those totally rock! The Jetfire one is great with the Nasa decals and the white paintjob. It works really well. The Starscream out of the Tracks mould also looks great, a really good paint job, really matches the character. And Armada Red Alert was a bit of a favourite of mine, so I like that one too. Good work!

I think Jetfire is Really good, and the molded head is especially good, but the figure overall is not as Good as Screamer.
But Red Alert leave's them both in the dust, It looks as if that mold was Made for him.

The Red Alert one is amazing and very fitting. Not too sure of the Jetfire one. The head seems a tad big and the robot mode could use some red. Great job on the mod, just doesn't scream Jetfire to me. Would work excellently as one of the Energon SWAT team members.

Thanks everyone for the feedback...I've gotten a good number of ideas and critiques on what they like and what to change.

I don't think I am going to change much, other than to add the Satellite Dish, and when I do, I will certainly post some more pics. For some reason I am stuck on the solid white color of this NASA van...hahaha

At this time my next kitbash is not Hotshot...however I have planned a Hotshot for sometime...I just need to get around to it. My next kitbash is actually my first kitbash - in that it has gone unfinished for just about two years now. The paint is all there, it just needed to be fixed up, and some details needed to be added. The paint isn't top quality...because it was my first attempt at spray painting an Alternator...but i am working on improving it.

I don't want to reveal too much, but it is the Subaru mold, and its an Energon character.

Indeed, the character in the middle is Armada Starscream...I posted it earlier in the forums about a month ago...I'll have to dig for a link.

    Thanks guys!
