    Nice find! Thanks :)

I doubt there will be a CD release, DOTM never got one, it's not even on Itunes anymore.

Fwiw, Jablonsky is REALLY pushing for a physical release. He basically stated that ultimately be doesn't have the final say, but he's trying really hard to get a tangible release for this one. So, hopefully!

Screw iTunes and screw Paramount for not offering FLAC and physical versions. For that, they will not get my money but I will still find a way to get the score. Bastards.

Apparently "The Legend Exists" has some "Arrival to Earth" mixed in it.

Hope it's eventually released on the Amazon MP3 download.
Still, glad to hear it's available.

He was pushing for it last time too. There was even pre orders for the CD on the DOTM website which I had ordered, but later was notified that it was cancelled. Not sure what the deal is with the Jablonsky TFTM scores. Even the 07 one wasn't released until October the year the movie came out, and it was in very limited supply.

I'm guessing declining physical format sales and the fact that film scores are a pretty niche market is why Paramount is just opting with digital only, and even then I bet Steve has a lot to do with them actually getting released.

Hoping one day La La Land will do a super box set with all the music from the films.

    :lol

Because stealing the only release of the score is the best way to get it released on CD right? Most people can't even discern MP3/M4A to FLAC/CD when listening anyway. Be thankful this was even released at all.

Is there a track called "No financial aid?" I remember it being laughably dramatic.

Dude, take a breath and relax... I realize not everyone understands how these things work, so let me summarize for you. The mastering of the score was completed late last night. ASIDE from all the legalities involved in releasing a physical cd, there is NO WAY, it could have been produced in mass quantities (cd, artwork, liner notes, etc) and available on shelves today! THEY'RE working on getting it made, but in the meantime made it available on iTunes mere HOURS after the final mix was completed. So, exactly what ARE you complaining about? The music is what counts, and it's now available. What else do you think you're entitled to at this time?

And for the record, in today's world of digital downloads, it's not so hard to understand why physical releases are becoming a rarity. Quite simply, it's economics 101. The record company would certainly mass produce a physical cd if they're even slightly certain it will sell in mass quantities and they will profit. But if they think they'll not recoup the funds used to make said product, they're not gonna do it, period.

It sucks, but it's the reality of our digital age... And it's quite understandable.

Sucks that the EP songs aren't included in the full release. Still buying anyways, just saying.

I am LOVING this score! Really like the "Presence of Megatron" track due to using the original Decepticon theme in bits and pieces throughout it. That was too underutilized after the first film.

My thoughts exactly... Although it got a couple spotlights in the ROTF score, it was still few... and none in DOTM!

Is the Autobots Reunite theme worked into any of the other tracks?

Dark of the Moon never got an official CD release. I tried searching and missed the download window for that release. I Wish Paramount would allow one of the Soundtrack labels to release expanded versions.
