Yes of course I want a TF5, but as Barricade24 said above, it is pretty far off to think about it now.
I voted no. Not unless Bay can actually improve his film making. But that is so unlikely it doesn't even warrant a most likely no.
I'd say the chances of Transformers 5 are highly likely. Paramount is kind of lacking in big franchises lately so they would be reluctant to let one go if there was any chance of making a dime off of it. Expansion of 3D outside of the US market makes it hard not make money even for films that have trouble in the US. Plus it's like an old record skipping with Bay saying film number so and so is his last, so Bay will be back again. Do I want a fifth movie? Not really. The movies tend to take over for a while so if you don't like the movie figures and you want something different you are just out of luck until retailers get mad about the movie figures clogging shelves. Just can't seem to get into the movie robots as characters because it seems like they were always a better character somewhere else. After all the attempts of going bigger the films are feeling kind of stale and been there done that. Worth a rental but nothing I feel compelled to rush out and see.
The fourth "movie" isn't even in production yet, and you're already talking about a fifth one?.... As for the question at hand...NO!...I don't even think the fourth one should be made, tbh.
I would like a fifth Transformers movie. However I would not like a fifth BayFormers movie. Anyway, let's get TF4 out of the way before we start thinking about TF5.
If TF4 doesn't flop, which it probably won't, then there will be a fifth. And if TF4 tops DOTM, then Bay will stay on for Tf5. Max Profit.
fail thread, sorry. and I answered a resounding 'NO', by the way. IMHO... just because multiple sequels to an already established and successful franchise of movies just spells disaster.
As long as Transformers 4 makes money even if it's not at Dark of the Moon levels I've got a feeling Bay will be back. Paramount isn't really bold enough at this point to take a risk like changing directors. For all his talk about wanting to do something other than Transformers Micheal Bay hasn't exactly shown the boldness other directors have when it comes to leaving a franchise.
Yeah, this is what I was kinda thinking. We gotta slow down, chill out, drink Dr Pepper and see what number 4 delivers
