I'll believe that when I see it. And I predict I never will.

 

Personally I think it's way to early to speculate what the 4th movie might be about.

 

Well that is true. But if you ask me, they have a great chance to really make the movie kick ass. I myself liked the other movies. Didn't LOVE them, but I did enjoy them.

Here is a chance to get ride of a lot of the human BS from the movies, and really get into the war of the two factions. And Get rid of Megatron. He was a punk in all three of the movies.

Bring in Galvatron, a more dark, evil, strong leader. And get to the goods!

However the movies will always have the human drama, if for no other reason than budget.

 

Galvatron as the villian would be perfect, he's so known that he can't be overlooked.

 

Agreed. I'd like to be optimistic, but not holding my breath. Just going to take this with a grain of salt, say I'm happy that we are getting another movie, and just keep on watching Prime in the meantime.

 

Unicron could work. After all, I still think he made the Allspark.

 

Unicron is way too big, i don't think Bay would include a size planet eater, unless if he were like his Prime counterpart.

 

To be honest. I don't think Bay would do that unless they took the story to more in space/Cybertron. And if they take it to space, IMO it would just ruin it. Whenever a movie in a franchise goes to space, that is the end of the line.

It will be of sorts I believe. As in, it will go from TF3 but be more about the bots and the war, and not so much about the humans.

 

Indeed. But as I'm oft to say in my life: 'Intention isn't execution'. They may say they want to do that but there's nothing to hold them to actually doing it.
Or of course they're just them once again saying what they know people want to hear about a step-up in game but will just do their same old thing anyway. This is just the bait on a hook and once they've reeled people in they'll smash them over the head with a cosh and gut them.
