Hasbro will want another film, as would Paramount. They'll keep making them for as long as they can make money from it, with whoever will sign on to direct it. As expected.

I just hope that any new films dont turn out crappy. Need to be the same cast and continue from where we left off.

If they did something like the crappy Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot (TMNT), I'll be pissed...

If there's any justice then he'll never ever come back to the franchise and we can get an eventual reboot and have movies that don't suck ass. In fact, pls get rid of everyone that was involved in all of these movies.

I would love to get a reboot at some point, but honestly I don't mind what Bay did with the franchise (though I reserve final judgment for after I see the third movie). While I think the 2nd one had a terrible storyline and was all jumbled up, a lot of that can be blamed on the writers strike and rush to market by Paramount. It was almost like they had a bunch of stories they wanted to develop (too many) and just didn't have the time to fully develop them. I thought the first one was a pretty damn good introduction to the Transformers. I was actually surprised at the amount of story it had. I was expecting Rock Em Sock Em Robots for 2 hours.

If the third one is decent, I think bay will have done fair enough for me for a summer blockbuster movie. Sure there were things I would have changed (twins, potty jokes, some goofy bots like Demolisher, Devs), but all-in-all, they brought a 1980s cartoon to the real world fairly well for me. bugs or not, the basic two-arm/two-leg bots turned out alright, and as long as the final chapter isnt jumbled, I will be satisfied.

Edit: We are never gonna like everything in a movie, I don't know how GI Joe turned into the real international hero.

I want the next Transformers film to be stop-motion and directed by Wes Anderson.

As long as Optimus and Megatron are alive. a fourth can be done. I say they should kinda reboot like the Fast and Furious movies did. not a complete reboot but enough so that it can have freshness to it.

Like him or not, everyone should know full well that Bay will make sure he's involved in at least some facet of any new TF movies - even if they're a complete reboot as opposed to being sequels. He launched this movie franchise, and being the savvy businessman that he is, it's all but a guarantee that he'll at least maintain a position of executive producer to anything that comes after he's done directing.
