I just thout what if they made a movie when they started the at cybertron.what do you think
depends on who did it, michael bay would fill it with futuristic brothels, and robots with bear guts that smoked pot., if they got someone else to do it, like say james cameron, or speilberg then it would be full of win.
I'm guessing you mean a "prequel" of sorts, going back to the original war on Cybertron.
Well, the problem with that is the war was, what, millions of years ago? Do that, and you can't have any humans.
No Sam. No gratuitous panty crotch shots of Victoria Secret models. No psychotic Asian men packing guns. No John Turturo in his underwear.
Nah, we already haev the novel/comcis prequels
Do you guys, y'know, have any idea of how ridicuously expensive that would be?
who cares about the price, people want action
Who cares about the Price? Paramount and Hasbro, and they care a lot.
That shit would be more expensive than goddamn Avatar.
Closer even to SW EP. : III. No, really Mr Lucas should have a say . He Is one of Fortune 500 top 5, atleast!
It would be pretty boring too IMO. Cause we all know how it turns out.
what did you say I diden't under stand you overlord balder
I'm saying that Paramount and Hasbro wouldn't do such a expensive movie.
I get it now
We got a tantalising glimpse of Cybertron in Dark of the Moon. It was pretty cool, but I wonder how much it cost.
If we could get say a 10 minute, or even a 20 minute Cybertron sequence in the next film, I'll be more than satisfied. I'd definitely like to see more of Cybertron, and more bots and more going on outside of earth in general, but there's always the expense as well as the risk of alienating the wider audience.
So I think it's definitely possible to show more of the planet in the next movie, but not so likely for it to become the main setting. I was hoping they would do more of Cybertron for the game(given the studio they brought on), but that didn't seem to happen. Maybe next time they'll give it a shot even if it doesn't get much exposure in the movie..
Really? Avatar cost what, 200 million, 250 million to make? So lets say that this takes 300 million to make. ROTF raked in nearly a billion bucks, DOTM is making money hand over fist. Even if they spent 300 million to make the movie, they would still make a profit.
You're severly underestimating the sheer amount of models needed to create a cities, a large group of inviduals, countless locations in a movie WITHOUT humans.
DOTM took 200 Million [approximadetly] and it had humans, a full movie on Cybertron would be approximadetly, 500 Million in my opinion, too risky for Paramount or Hasbro.
i see primus created 13 transformers and cybertron in tf 4 movie
Usually the 4 film in a franchise is always some sort of prequal. I like the idea of going back to cybertron to see how it all started but it would cost alot and no humans so that would be very different since all three movies had alot of humans involved in the story.
I don't get what you people are talking about I just like the action
this issue has been discussed to death in some other thread...
-too expensive for Real-CGI at the moment
Its not just about action and blowing stuff up. Theres got to be a stable storyline and people have got to know whats going on.
I think it would be awsome if it was set on cybertron, past, present or future would be great.
New characters i want to see are: Hotrod/rodimus prime, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Slipstream and Sideburn or and blurr, hes funny. I love arialbots
hmmm Unicron maybe?
