He was the only villain to not lose his head unlike all the other villains in DOTM aside from at least one of the Dreads. His body is still intact aside from major damage to his body due to Megatron's ambush attack and Optimus shooting him twice with Megatron's shotgun.
However as I said before, "He was the only major villain who DID NOT lose his head" and surely there must be some Energon deposits hidden on Earth somewhere. There are also still many Decepticons left all over the world as the destruction of the control pillar and the space bridge only sucked in the Cybertronian fighters and the Cybertronian warships. So it is possible that a group of Decepticons happen to locate an Energon mine, find Sentinel's dead body and use the Energon to bring Sentinel's Spark back to life. Sentinel would only require a new vehicle mode since his original form as a Rosenbauer fire engine would look all f**ked up due to the intense damage he sustained in the final battle in DOTM.

Uh, he was shot in the head by the shotgun, I'd think he'd be dead.

I'm pretty sure Energon doesn't revive Transformers and/or regenerate their damaged brain.

You never see his Spark get permanently destroyed though. As long as a Spark still resides within a Transformer's body, then anything is possible.

It's possible either way actually, henceforth Megatron's epic resurrection in ROTF. Jazz, Ironhide, Que... They have no future of being brought back into the series due to Jazz getting ripped in half, Ironhide being melted into a rust puddle and Que losing his head.

If you can't revive a transformer who got decapitated, then there's no reason why you should be able to revive one that stopped functioning from getting shot in the head twice either. Putting energon back into a dead Cybertronian to revive it is like putting blood back in a dead human to revive it.

Ok. He got shot in the chest then shot in the head. That probably makes things worse.

The back of his head was blown open. Resurrecting him will be the laziest writing ever.

Who says you can't revive one that's been decapitated?

However, Megatron suffered worst in Transformers (2007). Bombarded by the US Air Force and a bunch of inferior fleshlings, lost a leg due to Optimus tripping him up and then ultimately got his spark blown out... BY AN INFERIOR FLESHLING WHO SCREAMS LIKE A CHICK.

Use Energon to resurrect Sentinel. Well now, since every Cybertronian has Energon running through them, why is it that everytime one dies, the victim doesn't just pop back up like nothing happened?

That's because Energon doesn't do that. It's simply the blood, the fuel, not the magic anti-Death cure. If resurrecting someone as as simple as using Energon, then you'd have a pretty damn long, pointless cycle of dying, coming back to life, dying again, and so on.

You want Sentinel back, use the Allspark/Matrix, the things that actually DO resurrect people.

Then explain Starscream reviving Skyquake in TF Prime with nothing but a small cube of Energon.

HE DEAD. Transformers 4 needs new characters not resurrected ones. Dead characters should remain DEAD.

    With the greatest pleasure.

Skyquake was in stasis. Stasis is essentially the Transformers version of hibernation. The Energon opened his box and woke him up.

Do you understand now? Skyquake wasn't dead. He was just in stasis.

Now, when he was dead, Starscream used Dark Energon to resurrect him.

    Not normal Energon. DARK Energon.

Lets be realistic here kids, he will not come back. Michael Bay isn't stupid enough to do that, considering that he said, in Dark of the Moon, when a character dies they stay dead. I highly doubt Leonard Nimoy will sign on to voice him again.

Besides, what the hell is Sentinel going to do in the next film, he's already lost Cybertron and Optimus would never accept him back. Just give us a new villian instead of the most incredibly laziest idea ever.

Theres no hope for Sentinel ever coming back, accept it.
