NEST SOLDIER, I was not at all responding to your post, which I don't find funny at all. It's sad really.

I agree that by reading my post immediately following yours doesn't gell well.

Hope you're not offended, I'm sorry if you are.

The movies print money. Hasbro's not about to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs. It doesn't matter if the movies are quality or not, each one makes more dough than the last and that's why we even have our precious Classics still.

As much as I love the movieverse I'm over it. Unless Bay fixes Dotm's ending on the special edition trilogy set I don't care anymore. They killed off all my favorite villains, and unless it tf4 opens with a near dead Shockwave crawling his hulk into the river to escape ...or they go the Animated route story wise with Megatrons head. I will probably skip tf4 in the theaters. I did the same thing with Pirates 4, and it was surprisingly good. Dotm's ending is not good enough for a series ending, but at the same time leaves very little room in my imagination for a sequel.

Far and away the best comedic scene in the trilogy.

Why can't they let it die and let Prime take the spotlight. I know, money. Ass holes.

it's not just money limited veiwer ship may be a factor... Had it not been for forums like this I may have never know that prime even existed... That's the down side of living in BFE. My nephews and I will probably have to wait for the Box sets to come out to watch it as currently HUB is the only network that carries it (as far as I know) and I will not pay Direct TV or Dish Network extra money just to watch 1 show. So until prime airs on the main networks I don't think Hasbro will make prime the main line as it were.

What I want to know is why they couldn't do that in the first place?

LOL well I guess the answer is MONEY. I believe I read that Hasbro owns HUB. Launch it on their network; get people to call their cable/satellite companies asking for it. It then becomes a standard channel; Hasbro makes money then sell the past seasons to a main network and make more money. That is what I'm guessing

You know, when you copy and paste a text from another forum it's always a good thing to quote the source. This is how you respect other peoples efforts. :)

I probably won't believe it until I hear it for myself. Until I see or even hear proof, then I will keep on believing DOTM was the last of the trilogy.

I'm a "Hasbro Investor". Three Shares. Anyway, I'll do my best to see the Video, and share what I find out. I'm kinda excited about a 4th Movie.

What's that suppose to mean? I'm just saying it would be more wiser on Hasbro's part if they focus on the Transformers Prime universe first so when the show does end then it would be a good time to do a fourth movie.

i'm not holding my breath because i'm almost positive any announcement will be "we're doing a 4th movie, but we're gonna do it in a couple years after Prime has been going steady for a couple more seasons."

Ok, I have read over that quote several times now, and nowhere do I see it say ANYTHING about TF4 or movie. So, thread title misleading.

Animated's demise was a different story.TFA's toyline clashed with the ROTF toyline as a result of poor planning and such. I seriously doubt Hasbro wants to make that same mistake again. They worked so hard to put a countinuity that while it's not perfect is the most well thought out timeline in ages. So don't get gloomy about the whole ordeal unless it really happens which is very unlikely.

^^Animated was something for hasbro to fall back on, just in case the movie line flopped, but the movies ended up surpassing hasbros expectations, and so hasbro axed it. (Another reason: The Hub)

Animated getting axed had a LOT more to do with Hasbro wanting to form the Hub and CN not playing nice than it had do do with ROTF.
