    It will be HUGE in Asia, and China is the market they're targeting as it rakes in HUGE amounts. Pacific Rim for all its annoying faults was massive here and in China (even though we all LAUGHED at the errors about Hong Kong in the cinema... and when I mean all I mean the ENTIRE patronage of the cinema).

    Hong Kong is the ideal launching point because it doesn't have the visa restrictions the Mainland does but it is still technically part of China. It's a nice "middle ground".
    One of the papers here reported the Premiere wasn't on the Mainland because they wouldn't have been able to get visas for most of the press they wanted to invite. Most Western passport holders can come to HK and not require a visa.

    Imagine Dragons are singing. It's just a rock concert on the rooftop of a big shopping mall next to Hong Kong harbour.

    There are screens behind them showing lightning and scenery ... nothing Transformers...

    I'm amused how many of the audience are able to sing a long though. I've never heard any of these songs.
