"Future is wonderful"-aw, so cheesy. Like we didn't understand it after first few pages.

    This issue
takes place WAAAAAAAAAAAY into the future. So much, that Ironhide is pretty the last known living survivor of the War. Well, besides Alpha Trion.

I'm really anticipating this issue. I loved the preview so I hope the rest of the issue is as good.

I really try to not diss the work of others...but everything said and done. with a VERY few exceptions, I don't think ongoing will be remembered in anyones mind as one of TF comics shining moments. Course somehow people now look back on BEAST MACHINES fondly. I remember a few years back you couldn't find a favorable review of that series if you paid a person for it.

It's between the IDW stories thus far and this epilogue.

    *Looks at sigil*

    Transformers Generation 2?

Though the implication there is no more Decepticons. Why do I have a feeling they are in for a rude awakening.

it was a mature show that I don't think the fan base really appreciated when they first saw it as kids and unless you gave it another chance to re-watch it recently, you just remember that you didn't like it. Good thing plenty of people, myself included, gave it another chance and learned to appreciate it....unlike what will happen to the Ongoing series.

I don't know. Chaos just was not (in my opinion of course) what IDW made it out to be. I was really underwhelmed by the whole thing. The art style, while an interesting experiment, just didn't work for me. It was often rather difficult to tell what was happening in the panels. The ongoing has been somewhat hit and miss for me. The issues leading up to chaos (Megatron's surrender and his and Op's past revealed) were pretty danged awesome and just when I thought IDW had turned a corner on TF it was back to the somewhat lackluster stuff. And I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER forgive them for the shite that was the Galvatron mini-series. Can't wait for ReGenerationOne! Bring it on!

which would have been fine, If not for the redefinition of almost every single character without explanation. Look, I gave up on ever liking Beast MAchines when I explanained why I didn't like it to Scott and he essentially told me "welcome to the club"

By far the worst, THE WORST, art and writing I have ever seen in any form of entertainment. I might be in the minority, but Chaos saved the Ongoing series for me. I would have dropped it if I was going to expect more focus on Heart of Darkness solely.

Heart of Darkness story overall was not bad. It's the art that I have a problem with. It's just soooo terrible. I can't believe that anyone in IDW genuinely thought the art on those issues was good. They had to know it wasn't even close to being on par with the rest of the TF stuff being turned out and yet they released them anyways. I'm probably just mad because I bought them anyways to keep up with the story. I just expect good quality out of a $4 comic!
