title sounds great. seems like there's a nest of transformers hanging out on the moon.

 

I do take your point, but I'm still not certain that its a good title. The phrase seems very obscure, to the point that most people who've commented so far had not heard of it and actually thought it was grammatically incorrect, including myself.

The fact that the news post on the front pages needed to link to an explanation of the phrase would seem to back up the observation that this is a somewhat odd and obscure title choice that makes a lot of people scratch their heads when they see it. Ideally, I don't think movie titles should do that, but admittedly that's just my opinion.

Sounds like they wanted to go with 'The Dark Side of the Moon' but couldn't for obvious reasons...

But we'll all get used to it.

 

This has got to go with Quantum of Solace as one of the biggest WTF titles in recent memory.

And even if it is real it could have been way, WAY worse.

IMO, I don't mind it at all. It's unique and it's not "The Dark Side of The Moon", which is an over-played title or term.

People really need to calm down. Seriously.

 

I don't think it sounds that bad. It seems like an ok title to me, of course I really could care less about what it's called, I just want to see the movie itself.

 

I pointed that out earlier.  

The second movie is referred more to as RotF then TF2, though. I don't think it'll be different for this one.

It actually has meaning.

 

I suspect you're probably right. I remember when Attack of the Clones was announced, to universal mockery, with even Ewan Mcgregor going on record to say it was a terrible title. But now? Well, it's still not GOOD, but we've gotten used to it.

At the end of the day, chuckles aside, they can call it want they want, as long as they give me a kick ass transformers movie.  

 

and thus...people complaining that the title doesn't make sense
are looking alittle stupid!

 

Movie'verse Unicron could be interesting if it turns out he's our moon.

Honestly I kind of like the title.... it's unexpected.
