Where would you want the next setting for the third movie to focus on?

I say that they can Sam, Mikaela, and the inevitable Daniel (oh god) and they focus on the Autobots going to Cybertron to rebuild and repopulate (ooh la la jk :p ). They run into a speed bump when they find out Unicron/Shockwave/Megatron & co./Quintessons/the third retard twin are in control of the planet and want Optimus Prime dead. Makes for an interesting story and Skids and Mudflap find out that they are triplets with an evil twins MWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA (if they name him Rumble I'm throwing out my Movie 1 Legends Optimus Prime >:l)

I'd like to see TFs fight in a snowy setting, think it'd be visually stunning.

It's what you think about when you live in the north, namely Alaska. The way the snow falls slow and thick here, just seeing that and Prime standing along side a mountain would be enough for me!

LOL. I thought the Antartica part could be like them getting banished or something after being exposed in ROTF

I'd like a jungle setting. Maybe introduce Dinobots, more Insecticons.

if it was on cybertron, i would love to see a Rated R Transformers movie...."Apocalypse Now meets Full Metal Jacket meets Saving Provate Ryan meets Transformers.." a very dark gritty war film with robots instead of those crapass humans...

Would be kool if we had a Jungle scene,

    an Arctic/snowy/mountain scene.

    a beach scene.

    a cliff scene.

a great wall of china scene (just got an image of prime driving on it)

it would be kool if the intro showed the birth of optimus prime while the credits come up...

also if the last battle is on cybertron. -they would have to have sam there somehow to indicate the scale of it - I dont like the idea of it but the bots wouldnt look so huge if they were on their own planet with other bots.....not sure how that would work having sam there - once again - ''crapass humans'' ruining it.- hahaha

unrelated point - i once had a dream of wolverine jupming off a cliff and prime driving from the side transforming in mid air and grabbing wolvering before he strikes megatron down below - one day they should make an x-men/transformers film for jokes - 100% cg.

    Earth.

The idea of taking it into space is retarded. What use would they have for their alt modes? Do you want everyone to be a protoform? So is Sam gonna suddenly become an astronaut like in the '86 movie?

Hell no. If you're using Cybertron for anything other than flashbacks, you're not thinking logically or from the point of a writer. It would make the film an immediate bomb. Just like introducing Unicron (which was already a ripoff Death Star, and has been since ripped off with Galactus, etc) or the Nebulons/Quintessons would ruin the series too.

Transformers is an always has been about the interaction of Cybertronians in our Earth society. If you have read the G1 series bible, you'll know that Hasbro originally planned to set the show entirely on Cybertron, until they realised what a dumb idea it was. It takes away all threat to humans, thus all the tension and all the connection to our way of life. Robots fighting each other is blasé; robots fighting each other in environments we can relate to is thrilling.

Even on looking back at G1, the boring episodes are all in season 3 and 4, when they begin going into space. That series lacked the magic that made the Transformers formula work, and begins to feel like a bunch of Cybertronians just stepped into Star Wars.

Like people have said, I'd look for more Earth environments that are familiar but grandiose and majestic, and put the battles there. In the arctic would be awesome, maybe when Megatron crashed a vital part of him was left buried, and he goes to retrieve it, only to be followed by the Autobots? You could involve the other
    Seekers
mentioned in ROTF (aside from Jetfire and
    Ransack
) and have them talk about an ancient mission related to
    the original 13
(ala the story of ROTF, but minus The Fallen, and with more info on
Prime's destiny as part of the Dynasty Of Primes
    ).

In any case Cybertron would be a big no-no unless used to show the history of Optimus and Megatron's conflict...
