I think we'll have to wait to see what transpires. Cause don't you remember that Michael Bay likes to put out misinformation

ROTF Contains many elements that are 'core mythology' to Michael Bay.

And to be honest there's plenty of things from the 80's that i'd not be enthusiastic about in a live action setting, such as Energon Cubes. or Quintessons.
We are probably getting some hints from those art boards I guess too.

All i'd really like is less hokey 'bad taste' humor, a coherent story, non-fuzzy, non-blurry robot CGI.
A reason for any humans being there, little or no Leo.

And perhaps a car chase, or better use of the vehicle modes.
Guns on the vehicle modes would be good too.
Lastly give Sideswipe something to do in the 3quel.

P.S.
Don't a majority of people see Iron Man as perhaps one of the most respectful comic book movies made so far.

Iron Man looks like Iron Man and many of the changes only exist due to having to move the origin forward in time.
And how can you not like that it that Iron Man II's got 'Ultimates' Nick Fury actually played by Samuel L. Jackson.
That is complete fan service [in a good way.]
And they have lots of fun with Playboy Stark as much as Iron Man.

And that works unlike with Bruce Wayne/Batman.

 

Starscream just better be on point this movie.   lol
