In other spoiler equivalant news, there will be at least one transformation in the movie.

How is there going to be a space race to the moon at all? Beyond as mentioned every TF arriving on Earth under their own power, Starscream and Megatron both left Earth (and maybe the solar system?) and later returned to under their own power on screen in the first two movies.

That these movies continue to be popular and exist while Animated got cancelled continues to rub me the wrong way.

Because it will occur during the 1960's. Previous rumor about the trailer involves JFK getting a report from a bunch of MIB, probably Sector 7, that something is on the moon prompting the race to the moon.

They are going for a similar plot to Jetfire and the Seekers being around here on Earth. There is probably more to Project Black Knife that Simmons was discouraged to investigate by his superiors.

 

I'm beginning to wonder if the Tunguska event might also be connected to the Transformers in this movie...

 

I've been thinking the same thing ever since Shockwave's name first appeared months ago.

Hell they used The Fallen for the second one, why not Dreamwave's War and Peace as a basis for the third one.

 

i dunno theres still so many questions to be asked about what this film is about... a space race to win back cybertron... i dont get the whole space race thing unless theres somthing on the moon both nations need. i dunno. the moveis gonna be bad ass guess ill just have to wait to see how this plot unfolds. i was really hoping for some sort of mytho to be involed like the previous films as twisted as it may have been. theres still a possibility it will be there i guess.

To be completely honest, this doesn't feel like much of a spoiler to me.

We've known for a long time about Shockwave being involved in the story, as well as him being the new dictator of Cybertron due to the absence of the Autobots and Decepticons.

As for the space race, I'm certain we've heard rumors of the Transformers being involved with that as well. But the way this spoiler words it is as if this space race is happening now, in the present. When I first heard this rumor, I assumed they were talking about the the 1960s and the Cold War.

But I digress. I'm still looking forward to seeing this movie in theatres and discover what havoc Bay and company really created in my hometown of Chicago.

 

I'm just wondering if avenge is the right description since all the Decepticons do is show up and die in large numbers.

Although I'm sure it's a pipe dream, I really hope that Corey Burton is in serious consideration to voice Shockwave. I think his voice would sound AMAZING on the big screen, especially if it had a slightly more vicious tone to it.
