If they can do a Masterpiece quality transformation for a Leader Class SS, that would be something! The voyager had way too much kibble, and didn't even have thrusters! Hands would be good too.

Jet Fire would have to go for Supreme Class just for his size!

That's very exciting news. I hope the Jetfire character ends up being supreme-class.

If any characters are actually made in the Supreme class for this movie, scale likely won't be a big factor in who they do; it'd probably be based on how recognizable they are (like BB or Prime) and what kinda gimmicks/features they can incorporate.

 

I'm sure we can expect to see a bunch of toys for robots that weren't even in the movie again.

 

I thought they were already producing the toys since the characters designs were done months ago.

I hope it's new proper Prime mold, I'm not satisfied with what we got.

 

Im guessing Prime, but if it is screamer, then he better have hands and the trusters, hell a blade or two would be nice as well.

 

That would suck...Hasbro would just be begging to have more pegwarmers. Ultimate Bumblebee anyone? Cybertron Starscream? Beast Machines Cheetor? Now if it were a really big character and it was the only way you could get them (no Voaygers ala Bulkhead or Lugnut), then it could work.

But no more epic sized versions of normal sized characters. Reserve the Supreme size for the huge characters.

 

Um Didnt we get comfirmation that all the old characters would be "improved" but not nessasarily new molds. The only new molds would be the new characters. But with all that said Starscream would be a nice leader class toy. I dont plan to buy any old characters except for well if they give starscream arms, Hopfully well get a good megatron with a tank as an alt mode...

 

Yeah - I'll be happy if they reuse a lot of figures - saves me money.

However, I would pick up a new Ironhide if it was a good repaint. And if they redid the Leaders I'd consider getting them.

 

The first Leader-class will most likely be Soundwave, IF he is one of the "leading" roles. I hope he's a F-117 Nighthawk. Unlikely but?.?.

My guess is that will all see repaints/repacks of both Prime and Megatron, as the second wave.

 

Assuming there's 3 Leader class slots for the 2nd movie again, I think Jetfire, Starscream, and a new form of Megatron would be the most logical slots.

 

We can only hope not.

Have we even seen the bot modes of the new characters yet? I haven't been following the new movie news too closely.

 

the shelves just started to look good again with universe and animated while all the movie garbage was slowly going away but now more? nooooo!!!

 

In hindsight, the Transformers Movie toys in general are rather poor compared to the playability of Animated and Classics/Universe figures. Realistic vehicle modes at the expense of ugly robot forms, limited poseability, and broken auto-transformation gimmicks? No thanks.

 

Odds are Megatron will be a new mold at least.

And I suppose that it's possible that if they reuse the Premium Prime mold they could do four Leaders. 2 Autobot, 2 Decepticon.

 

I'm hoping it'll be Jetfire, so we can maybe see what his robot mode looks like. If not Jetfire, I'm hoping Starscream.
