One of the most important parts of ROTF to me is going to be its musical score. I thought the score for the first film was amazing. I listened to it at full volume in my work garage, i loved it. Steve Jablonsky did an amazing job i think. Who else is looking forward to hearing the musical score just as much as actually seeing the movie?

I am. I agree, the musical score was one of the high points that really stood out from the first film.

Yes, I love film scores and loved Jablonsky's work. I'm hoping for many more Decepticon leitmotifs (they only had one in the first film, whereas the Autobots had three).

Jablonsky's score for TF1 is absolutely superb. Me and my girlfriend use it all the time as background music for writing - gets you in the mood in a really good way. Can't wait to hear the theme of The Fallen ;-)

Jablonsky did an excellent job considering all the different scene types and characters. He purposely did not make it sound as epic as say, Star Wars, to bring more realism and it worked. It actually helped in emoting the bots in that movie. It made you care for the characters more in some strange way.

Yes I agree w/ this post very strongly. Jablonsky definately left a memorable theme to Transformers. I could not imagine the movie without it.

Also agreeing for Jablonsky's return. I don't normally like movie scores, but his work was phenomonal. I still get chills when I listen to "Cybertron". :thumbs2:

I too loved Jablonsky's stuff on TF1. Some really memorable pieces of music.
I have no doubt he'll pull out the stops for ROTF.

It was indeed an absolutely fantastic score. I just hope we get the actual score on time instead of waiting months only to have it discontinued not long after that. :mad  I was lucky to have found ONE in Borders on the day it came out, and that was after a bunch of store hopping.

Too epic for words, I would imagine. "Stunned silence".

Yeah, I loved the first movie's score. Still listen to it alot.

But ROTF better have an orchestral Transformers theme sneaked into it somewhere..I would love that. It doesn't need to dominate, but it would be awesome if in the final battle or something there would be a mix of the movie1 Autobots theme, Decepticons theme and the Transformers theme..

Of course the movie and its score will probably still be awesome without it, but I think the song is so iconic that it deserves to be in it.
