Wow, that's awesome. Taking the highly advanced ROTF visuals and slapping cheesy G1 sounds onto them. I don't know what it's supposed to mean, but then again, true art is usually incomprehensible anyways.

Great job man. It's ten times better already. Now if you can just turn the visuals into the cartoon too...

But seriously... no wait, I was being serious... but still, but seriously, that was good. I enjoyed it. :thumb

That was fantastic! I had forgotten how good the visuals were in the movie, and your use of sound effects and script brought them back into the spotlight. You and your voice actors are very talented!

I acknowledge that you put a lot of work into this, but I'm going to be honest - this attempt to match up the G1 audio and intro with the latest film is very, very poor.

It's not that the execution is poor - I can tell that you have a pretty girm grasp of the video editing software you're using, and you're doing a good job of synching up the voices - but the overall video itself is just a horrible mismatch.

The original '84 series was a combination of decent animation and stock sound effects, some of which were oddly oversampled or used at inappropriate times. It's this combination of slightly off-kilter visuals and hokey sound effects use that made the series bang-pow-amazing appealing to kids when they were young, and retains a "it wasn't that good, but I enjoyed it then" warmth for adults today.

The new movies, on the other hand, stick very closely to a media theme that's present throughout movies of the 2000s - fast/slow alternation, fastidious attention to audio and visual details and a generally "The Matrix"-style method of filmmaking (this, of course, without even mentioning that the new Transformers films largely fit within the way Bay directs his movies.)

...Anyway, the two Just DO NOT MELD. Not well. Not at all. It's painful to watch two VERY different styles of media be fused together in such a forceful way.
