i find it interesting how we're essentially (i say that cause i suppose it isn't official yet) a new mold for starscream for the rotf movie...and the old starscream is getting repainted into other seekers..

It's so in the future they can repaint the new mold into Skywarp, Thundercracker, Ramjet, etc. and get more $$$ from us.

I really hope this isn't going to be a hard to find exclusive or something, I love my FAB Ramjet and I really want to pick this one up too.

I just don't understand the fascination with these molds...

I feel that the bulky body makes all of the seekers resemble something akin to "Dr. Robotnik" from Sonic, or the Crushinator from "Futurama."

Now jet mode...I'll give you that. The jets are pretty sleek :)  Still not interesting enough to purchase though.

Nice figure, but it doesn't have the conehead, which knocks its overall appeal down a little bit...

I'm not a Seeker completist so i could care less about this or any other future seeker releases of this mold.

I dont care what anyone says movie starscream looks really stupid. I'm suprised, the Ramjet repaint makes him look better though. I didnt think this was possible. I still will never buy any incarnation of this figure however. PASS!

I thought this head sculpt looked familiar!

Good review...toy's not for me, but I can appreciate that they're trying to give the Coneheads some love.

lol... figures now that i'm no longer interested in collecting anything from the first movie, i finally see a decepticon other than Brawl and Barricade (who i snapped up right away) that i'd really like to have. and of all the stupid things he's not even from the movie itself, but a damn repaint. I like the white. it somehow makes him seem taller... less wide. if i didn't know there was to be a Jetfire in the ROTF movie, i'd totally rename Ramjet into Jetfire.. he looks the part, especially with his missiles attached to his arms on the sides and his claws extended... just has that feel. especially the paint aps on the head.

anyway... decent review. nice figure. total pass unless i get it cheap.

Wow. What a difference the poppin' white makes. I'm not a fan of this mold, but that is one dynamite re-paint that I may pick up (if it's in the budget, lol). I wish they could have sprung for a more unique head mold though. I think Hasbro owes us that much seeing as how this is, what...the sixth time they've reused this mold?

And wow! That's what those side things on the arms are for??? I swear that isn't in the instructions on my Deep-Space Starscream. I just kinda figured it was some kind of three-leaf clover shaped targeting system for the missles. (Stupid, yes, practical answer...uhh...no...) Thanks guys!

I'm on record as a fan of both the movie Starscream design and of this Voyager mould, but I'm still not that convinced that it's adaptable enough to justify all these repaints. I like the burly bot mode for the individual character of movie Starscream, who's more of a ruthless general-type than the standard effete backstabber, but as an all-purpose Seeker mould I don't really think it works.

    Still, nice review, GenZhao. :)

I really dont get all the complaints about this figure or the fact its being repainted. I mean whats the big deal? Stores are gonna be clamoring for exclusives and I personally would rather have 1rst movie repaints then the AEC stuff we got with the first movie. It makes sense for hasbro to finish the seeker sets it already started rather then starting over with the new mold. I'm sure we will get plenty of versions of the new mold as well. We still have Sunstorm and the rainmakers that could come out in the new mold
