Hey kids... first off, I don't know why i have @mac.com at the end of my name... hate that.

2nd... I work at American Dad and this SUNDAY, FOX is finally airing all of it's Halloween episodes. They were delayed b/c of the World Series, but whatever. Simpsons, Family Guy, Cleveland and AmDad are all Halloweened out.

American Dad has played Stan Bush's "The Touch" in a past episode during a montage of Roger and Stan training. (This was due to big Tf Fan and Supervising Director of Animation Brent Woods)

Now this week, Steve's costume is a transformer. There's a scene where it comes together just like Voltron, which is really well animated... and I think someone even calls him a GoBot at one time. Not to mention Akiko is dressed like Chun Li.

    Lots of bloody murder too!

    Tune in!!!

Help us out with Ratings so stupid FOX doesn't put crappy animation like Bob's Burgers or a new Napoleon Dynamite cartoon in our place... yes a Napoleon Dynamite cartoon... and yes it's 2010.... i don't get it either.

I'm looking forward to the Napoleon Dynamite cartoon. I don't really care if it replaces American Dad or Family Guy or whatever - that well ran dry long ago.

Referencing 80's culture icons is fun and all but it doesn't make a show. Neither does the style of animation.

More inane pop culture references in a MacFarlane show? How novel!

Seriously, though. I'm with MMM. Bring on Napoleon Dynamite.

A Seth MacFarlane vehicle making 80s references? How original.

It's going to take more than lazy 80's references to watch those poorly-plotted, unfunny shows.

If the people who work on the McFarlane shows are breaking a sweat over the Napoleon Dynamite cartoon, it must be amazing. Can't wait.

LOL. Not the response you were expecting huh Tom? Agreed for the most part. I'm surprised American Dad is still on myself. Not sure what Bob's Burgers is, but a Napoleon Dynamite cartoon would get watched by me. Vote for Pedro! Nuff said. I'm kinda tired of Seth's humor. He's like the funny guy that would entertain us at lunch in high school. At first he was funny as hell, then his antics became mildly amusing, but by the end of the year we found his "comedy" to be annoying, and the same ole shtick... and yes, that same guy has grown up to be Seth McFarlane. (LOL)

And yet, SECONDS after this is shown on the air someone will post it on youtube and come here to rave about it like it's the second coming of god.

People will agree with him. This makes me sad.

We'll get at least five threads on it, all on the same page of the same forum, within the hour.

American Dad tries to be different but Seth MacFarlane can't do anything without relying on his usual cliches like 80s references.

The Cleveland Show? Now there's an unfunny FG rehash.

The Soundwave gag in Family Guy was great.

    That's about it.

    I think it's AWESOME, but I'm already a big Family Guy/American Dad/Cleveland Show fan , so I'm biased.

You know what? Now that we know there's a TF fan in the production, I'd really like to see some bashing of G1 or Bayformers in the cartoon. Though I'd prefer it to be the Bayformers, either way would be in the controversial nature of the cartoon. And what more of a nod to the fandom than a world wide broadcasted flame bait? :D

I'm not a huge fan of American Dad. It's one of those 'eh, I'll watch it because I'm too lazy to find something else to watch' shows. I think it's neat to have TF Fans on that show though.

As for a Napolean Dynomite show? Ugh. How could that possibly be good?

And what "scathing" satire from MacFarlane that would be.

So the threat is replacing unfunny, unoriginal cartoons with possibly funny if also unoriginal shows?

And we're to care why, exactly?

    Oh, oh, lemme guess...

He'd make a joke about Micheal bay and explosions. And then he'd have the TFs reference something else.
