I would really like to see Reflector get reissued under the Encore Line with an E-Hobby repaint of him. If all three of his components were painted Animation Colors that Toy would look 100% better!
Has anyone ever attempted to paint their reflector toy animated colors?

I personally prefer the toy designs and coloration to the show design and coloration.

It works pretty well for G1 toys. I too liked a lot of the colorations on the toys versus the show.

Classics Optimus Prime. Sunshine Yellow paint should stay with PVC Care Bears.

Bumblebee, Sunstreaker and pretty much every other robot that is yellow or has yellow details would disagree.

Personally, the movie toys would rank high, but that's just because they have so much detail to be painted. (Though I'll admit, I love painting them)

    An oldie but a goodie - G1 Punch/Counterpunch.

Car mode, specifically - paint the edges of the orange parts that show on the car blue like the rest. I realized this and did it myself, and car mode looks WAY better. Counterpunch looks better too - less orange in bot mode.

    Every one ever released?

Name me someone who looks perfect in every way, and with nothing more to paint. (excluding Alt/BT's who need to look like the real thing, therefore aren't detailed as much as some might want, and possibly Green Screamer MP). I dare ya. :p

In all seriousness, i'm surprised no one's mention Universe Ironhide yet. What an annoying little bugger. I should know, i just finished painting him again an hour ago.

The RotF figures, if the paint jobs are overtly off and Hasbro ends up releasing a Premium line again for most figures, when they should've got it right in the first place. Same with the first film. I like my Premium figures, but they should've never have been an option if Hasbro had painted the first run correctly in the first place.

Energon Sharkticon. That mold is so spot on in design if it wasn't for that obnoxious color scheme... it doesn't have a show counterpart to be correct to, but having a black submarine in the front half and yellow, light purple, gold, and red in the rear half, something was obviously incorrect.

For toys requiring show accuracy... Takara's solved most of my recent grievances, Universe Smokescreen, Dinobot, Tele-BW BlackArachnia, Astrotrain... though my Robot Heroes Rattrap could certainly use a better coat of paint... Grey head? Really?

    Again?!?

If you'd just keep the old codger from hitting the 180 proof isopropyl, you wouldn't have to keep repainting him! :D
