Cool. But Starscream looks so... unpainted. For me, it works, but for kids, I wonder.

    Great!

Even thought the packaging has a similar asthetic as the rest of the movie stuff, the card and text are a bit brighter and more pronounced. Definitely stands a better chance of being eye-catching for kids and parents.

Good idea to have some 'similar but different' looks across the various items in the line.

Wow. The artwork on that packaging is horrid. He looks even squattier (Is that a word? Heh) then his normal self. I'd like to see the back packaging though.

The package artwork makes him look so huggable.

I'm one of few that like this Starscream design, but the artwork does look blah. His hands are a bit ugly, but it's better than those weird gun-fingers he had before I guess.

I prefer the regular Movie packaging, and they're doing themselves no favours with the artwork (and I like the STARSCREAM design too). The perspective is screwed up and it looks rather cheap.

Kids don't have high expectations like us adult collectors. I'm sure they'll be a hit with the young ones, since they'll be able to transform them quickly.

Artwork looks worse than his design. As for the packaging look, these Fast Action Battlers give me a Playskool GoBots vibe. Weird...

EDIT: Oh now I see why I'm getting the Playskool GoBots vibe. Says it's for ages 4 and up at the top left. Man, I feel stupid. :dunce

Wow... he looks to bulky to even move right. Like his legs wouldn't be able to support his upper-body... if that makes sense. Maybe I worded that wrong.

I think the packaging artwork is ment to be more kiddish since these are geared towards 4-6 year olds.

^^ Yeah can't you guys see the obvious Playschool look to the package and art? These are meant to be the Transformers version of Rescue Heroes Spiderman.

And just think of the bad, out of perspective artwork as a G1 homage ;)  jk

Ya, I think the designers are on the right track with the leg style they chose. For his body, that is the style that makes the most sense. BUT, I think it is too small. The inverted knee legs should be bigger and have more substance.

Hmm.... I'm actually liking that packaging. Starscream on the other hand, his jet mode is pretty cool, but his bot mode sucks in my opinion. i might get some of these FAB's, but not Screamer. I'm actually really curious to what the FAB versions of Megatron and Frenzy look like. Depending on what they look like, I might actually get them. Peace out.

We had some in the past : Unicron, Primus, Supreme Starscream, etc. Conversion level really means price point and not difficulty level as some deluxe figures are more complex than bigger ones.
