im hoping for Soundwave( with his little cassette bots ) and Shockwave.. my MP Megatron is arriving Friday.
What about a masterpiece DEVASTATOR? I mean releasing all construction figures separately -- scrapper, bonecrusher, scavenger, mixmaster, hook and long haul just like Marvel's BAF! Just imagine how BIG it will be. Also, Masterpiece Bumblebee comes in mind as well as Ironhide. Ultramagnus Masterpiece was released right after MP-01 -- its basically a repaint of MP-01 minus Magnus' shield/armor.
I want rest of the Seekers (I know I'll be getting MP-06), Shockwave, Galvatron, Soundwave, Rodimus Prime, and Ultra Magnus Perfect Edition with the armor. Beyond that I could care less.
After Skywarp gets released, Thundercracker, cape & crown Starscream, Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime. & Galvatron would be all I need
Why, the Insecticons, of course! Scale-wise, they'd make little sense, but in terms of sheer badassness (that a word?), they would rule!!!!
I agree here. Hot Rod is my #1, Galvatron would be my #2, Grimlock #3. And since we're only dreaming here, yeah, MP Devastator would be the most amazing toy ever made. EVER.
I can't really see Soundwave being made as a masterpiece. His original toy was one of the most accurates to begin with, his masterpiece would have little to improve. I'd tend to think the next new masterpiece mold will be a character whose toy would benefit from substantial improvements. A combiner would be nifty, but I can't really see that happening either. Seems to me it'd be a bit too complex and end up really expensive.
Still want a SOUNDWAVE. The articulation improvemements alone would be worth it to me, never mind the 'accurate' 'bot mode not having to compromise to the design requirements or a ridiculously contrived transformation (although I wouldn't put that past Takara!). There's even be enough space inside for a miniature radio! Besides, they'd have to do a Cassette 'Bot to come with him, so it'd be a two'fer!
Remember I'm 50-50 on whether this is going to be a good movie, so - thinking optimistically, and because of their size and me being an Alt collector - I want: MPE: Movie Megatron (Cybertronian Jet) Brawl - tank, nice scale for crushing Alts Blackout - way too cool. Might include Scorponok Bonecrusher - if he need be a larger vehicle (not sure about his size) Non-Movie, G1: Thundercracker Ramjet - maybe as an SR-71, repainted as Dirge Thrust as an Osprey or something Ultra Magnus redaux - a good car carrier, with a Super Articulated Robot in his traditional armor. Springer - totally a tripple changer! I'm not sure what they should do for his land-vehicle mode. But he doesn't have to be a non-realistic car.
well, IF they ever happen to do a gestalt, let me be the first to vote for Superion since I'm pretty sure Lio Kaiser & Piranacon would be out of the question.
My short list is: Grimlock Soundwave Shockwave Starscream that doesn't look like shit Rodimus Prime Galvatron Ironhide would also be pretty cool, and I'd be all over Devastator...it would just be friggin' expensive as hell and the combined mode would probably never hold together.
