I am an artist and I designed the toy below inspired by all the shows over the years. I would like to sell these and design many, many more. My question is what would you be willing to pay for such a piece and for that matter, would you want one? It is made from aluminum and transforms from the humanoid to a jet. It is fully articulated and stands on its own.

It makes me think of what a Cybertronian-aircraft-mode version of movie Starscream might be like. Impressive work.

    Actually, that'd make a decent TFTM07 Ratbat.

If it can be used as a lethal weapon, I'll give you $5 for it.

It looks like you spent a little time designing that to work and it looks good. But with machine time and the cost of metal now days.....if you did not mass produce it on a grand scale you are looking at a lot of money to charge for it to recoup your cost. Unfortunately if it is not really related to anything TF then you might be at a loss on it since it is a niche piece. As an art piece I can see it going for around 25-35 but....for that price most people would rather use that money to get a real TF.

    Just my opinion.

That's actually really cool, well done. Reminds me of the sculptures made from junk that you see in specialist shops (a place near me had a Space Marine made from all sorts of stuff).
It could easily be displayed as if it were modern art, but you can play with it as well!

What sort of dimensions does it have? And are you planning on doing different designs as well?

    Any size is possible

Yeah, I would have to produce thousands of these to get the cost down to 25-35 dollars. I've sold one to a museum for 800, so I was going for somewhere in between those numbers. I have access to cnc equipment, so any size is possible. The one features is 17 inches tall.

I like it quite a bit. I'd probably toss fifty bucks at something like this, being that it's made entirely of metal. Especially at that size.
