Ok i guess i was off topic asking this where i did so ill do it right. I have 2 questions. first is is hasbro gonna bring out certan figs they brought out in classics or univers. Granted they would be reissues just packeged different or are the lines a continuation. My second question is witch generation figures are more rare then the rest like i think kup is more rare then red alert but i am not sure can some one please help me out?

 

#1- No one knows.

#2- Kup is probably more in demand. There was a Henkei Red Alert already, so that probably cut down on people who needed that character. This is Kup's first and only Classics style figure, that I know of, so the demand for him is higher.

 

1. It could happen, it has happened. Both Starscream and Bumblebee got "rereleases" with new decoes. (Though Starscream's was during Universe 2.0)

2. I know Jazz and Tracks are in pretty high demand. Even despite the Untied versions being more sought-after. Wreck Gar is also in demand and thus a little rarer. Kup, I dunno. I still see him around online.

 

I'd be pretty happy if some of the universe/classics figs made it into generations. Didn't have a chance to get all these guys @ retail, and I do hope people get another chance at them eventually. Whether that be generations or another classics line entirely.

wheeljack, thundercracker, scourge, kup are all the hot generations figs at the moment. pick 'em up on sight if you don't have them yet (and want them, that is).

oh ok well i am soon gonna start to get more retail tfs and some g1s so after friday ima move to the new house and get a digital camera and take pics. so far i only got 3 generations and three rotf so i need lots more. the generations i have are redalert, cybertronian megatron, and dirge

It sounds like you're off to a pretty nice start.

I'd say if you see a Thrust, grab him,.. he was from the first Gen wave, so there aren't many of him left in retail (in my area at least).

 

Try TRU or Kmart for earlier waves of toys. They generally have stuff that Target and Wal-Mart have already sold out of, if you're looking for Thrust, Cybertron Optimus Prime, etc.

 

You could also try those stores that aren't dedicated to the toys but still sell them. Like your local grocery store or something. Went into my local Sears with my mom and sisters a week ago. Took a quick pass through their small toy section. On the shelves were no less than 4 Voyager-class Animated Megatron (Cybertronian mode) and 3 Supreme-class Animated Roll-Out Command Optimus Prime.

2. Supply and demand. Nobody wants Red Alert, nobody needs Red Alert. Jazz is rare as bigfoot, and everyone else I have little issue finding.

 

Not entirely true. I did see Lugnut and Strafe this past weekend at a toy store in South Coast Plaza. No Grappel but I'm guessing he was there at some point (same case, right?). Priced to move at a mere $34.95!

Kup and Scourge are in three different waves.

Unless those three waves are fairly low in production numbers, they're probably not going to be that rare, relatively speaking. But rarity in itself does not determine price.

Right now, it looks like Warpath might be the stand out.
