I was at the Toyota Speedway for Round 7 of Formula Drift and I was walking with my friend to his car when I saw this guy with a huge white Decepticon emblem on his shirt walking with his lady friend in the opposite direction.

At least he wore the shirt I have never saw. But Optimus Prime? My friend said, it's probably because I put him on the spot.

Doubt he even was a fan. Probably just someone who wore that shirt because it looked cool. I'll concede that he may have watched one or both of the live-action movies, though.

Remember, not everyone who wears a shirt is a fan of something.

Maybe he's a fan of boobies and didn't want to mess up his chances that evening with a bunch of nerd talk.

    It's very:

to ridicule those who don't know Transformers lore, even the seemingly obvious. :)

As a woman with "boobies" it would impress the hell out of me.
You men and the way you talk amuses me sometimes. Boobies, huh

Good point, she was the kind of girl you bring to the racetrack.

Really? My wife taught me the term the last time she flashed me.

I see hundreds of merchandise items in the girls section with a particular superhero's iconic "S" emblem.

I highly doubt most of the girls buying that have any idea who Superman is.

Same situation here, they probably saw the "cool symbol" and bought it. I think it is a good sign that the Autobot and Decepticon symbols have gone "mainstream" enough for that (considering you likely would never have seen that 10 years ago)

It's sorta bullshit to think someone wearing a shirt = being in love with the series/topic on the shirt.

Hell, I'm wearing an old NFL jersey and I don't know shit about home runs or yellow cards.

Now that you guys mention it, I did get rid of all my pro sports clothing because I was tired of being asked what I thought about games I didn't watch.

I see dicks all the time wearing Transformer shirts just because it's 80's pop.

What the hell is a yellow card?

Yellow card is a hockey penalty, I think.

Shouldn't call people names. Hell, the more Transformers merchandise sells, the better it is in the long run.
