I was reading our Planning & Allocation Highlights for Week 16 (Toys R Us). Turns out we will have a Transformers feature shop in the seasonal department. All stores will receive 1-2 units of 18B Optimus Bike (857553) and 18B Bumble Bee (85761). Additional fill-in units will not be received until the week of 6/17.

The bikes are $74.99 + $10.00 for assembly charges.

It would be cool if this was that one bike I heard about where it starts out with 3 wheels, but as you gain speed, the 2 wheel in the back merges into one. Would be perfect first bike for a kid, and a name like Bumblebee would be perfect

Being from the bike business, I will tell you this : never trust a bike assembled at TRU or Wal-Mart or Canadian Tire or whatever. Support your local bike dealer, where you will be able to find better quality bikes (even in the low end range) that are professionally assembled.

I was a bike shop mechanic for 5 years. These bikes will start with the cheapest of materials, be quickly smashed into the lowest quality of components, be halfway assembled by a a worker making the lowest of wages in asia, and be finished by a moron who neither cares nor knows about how to assembly a bike. Non funtioning brakes and drivetrains, reveresed parts, ruinied suspension members....I hate mass market bikes. They're dangerous.
