I'm just wondering who people consider analogues between the series' In my opinion, Prime Smokescreen was basically G1 Hot Rod. They were young, reckless but well meaning, both have spoken of having a destiny and share a lot of design cues where they could basically be repainted as each other. Another pairing I see are Prime Knock Out and G1 Dead End. They're both red(dish) sports cars. Both vain and hang around with a guy called Breakdown. Starscream and Terrorsaur Both treacherous and power hungry. Have airborne alt modes and have even shared a voice actor. OR Terrorsaur and G1/War Within Thrust Both powerhungry but cowardly braggarts. The Titanium War Within Thrust toy sports a similar colour scheme and design cues with Terrorsaur's animation model. Movie Hound and Prime Bulkhead Both large green Autobots. Enjoy a good scrap. Bulkhead's chin could pass as a stylised beard. So what do you all think? Am I talking through my tailpipe or can you guys see these character parallels? Or any others? I suppose RID Scourge and at least one incarnation of Nemesis Prime could be counted.
I'm not sure about that one. Cliffjumper loved a good fight, while Rattrap would rather not fight at all unless there was a low chance of him dying. If anything, he was more like G1 Huffer. Huffer, like Rattrap, would sometimes complain about whatever the current situation was, and at least once he was almost beaten up by a teammate for being a bit too smug.
As well as similar personality traits, I'm looking for the characters to have similar appearances. I agree Cliffjumper and Rattrap were assholes. Rattrap's face looks horrible too. To say nothing of his grating voice.
