The transformable one is made by Takara. That one as you can see from the packaging is made by Justittoys and dose not transform.

There is another transformable trailer, infact it was made buy a guy who posts (or use to) on the boards. I got one off ebay a while back and it's very nice. It's simply a scaled up version of the original trailer, but IMO fits better with MP Prime than Takara's version (size wise).

I much prefer my fan-made one (by dalianj, sold on eBay as sky_lynx1978, or something like that).

That being said, it's difficult to find now. And the Takara one was only available with MP-04, so if you already have MP Prime, the non-transforming trailer isn't a bad option. It's a quality product and it fits two Alts perfectly, which is a bonus.

And $35 is a great deal for it.

    Would this be the fella?
If so, he still posts; it's made by Anemis. Although this one has a few more added details, so it might not be the one.
I do seem to recall another version that was pretty much an exact upscale from the G1 trailer, but I can't remember who produced that...

Anemis' one was nice, but the one Motor_Master is talking about was made by Dalianj, another poster. There were considerably more of them, and available for a while on eBay pretty easily.

Far as I can remember, he only signed up to promote his trailer. At least, I don't believe he ever posted about anything else.

Sorry, man, my pronouns were poorly arranged. I meant that dalianj, the poster who made the other upscaled G1 trailer for MP Prime, only signed up to promote his trailer. I never saw him post anything else.

You are indeed still active, and I hope that continues, as I love seeing your work. :D

Yes that is the one. I think he might have sold out of them now. When I got mine, I got it for under $100 shipped.

I'm happy with my Justittoys Trailer. Doesn't transform, but it looks good and can store a BT/Alternator in car mode. I never transformed the original trailer that much anyway.

I like how everyone called me a tool when I plunked down $160 for MP-04 from BBTS last year. Two months after that, the movie came out. Two months after that, MP-04 went double the price.

Oh, and the MP-04 Trailer is mad sleek. Way better than any knock off.

Well the Justittoys Trailer isn't really a KO as MP-04 didn't exist at the time. Anyway, I didn't want/need another 20th/Convoy so the J-Trailer worked fine for me. BTW, the J-Trailer is very good quality unlike the typical KO.

I have the MP-04 transformable trailer as well and it looks great. it is actually painted and the silver paint really completes masterpiece prime's truck mode. I was able to snag mine from a fellow member for $100 just a couple of weeks ago so keep your eyes on the B/S/T board. I have both the original 20th prime with replacement stacks and Masterpiece prime so I can display him in robot mode and truck mode at the same time.
