Video is now live! I had to call the ISP and get them to reset some stuff at 5:30 am since even overnight the vid had not finished uploading.

The only small issue I'm having is balancing the legs and feet properly. I find it a lot easier to use the PE hands and feet to get Bruticus to stand up straight. With the DW feet, he wants to lean forward slightly but the ratchets in the feet stop it from toppling over. As a result, the center of gravity is off and I don't like that. I'll admit it's more likely something I'm doing rather than the product itself though. Anyone else have this issue?

Dude! I didn't even get that instruction sheet for Onslaught in my box! No wonder I was having so much damn trouble!

A tip for posing is at the end of my vid. In short, the ratchets in the ankles and the knees are too large. So I click mine to where they look good, and adjust the new hips to balance the torso. It gives you an Obari crotch thrust, but I think thats fitting since this has sort of an anime look. The PE ankles give you a better range thanks to the ball joint.

When I was disassembling onslaught, the tube that connects the knee broke. If anyone else has the same issue as me, just use a toothpick, poke it through the hole and glue it back on.

Nice to see someone else using this with a SteamShield CW Blast-Off, especially since I'm holding off on fully assembling mine till my Bruticus kit comes in.

Yeah it breaks. It actually warns in the instructions about breakage, but sadly I don't think there is anyway around be it.

It's not the knee joint that it points out in the instructions. It's literally the thick tube where the new knee is inserted. Now I am uber sad cuz it fell apart again.

Can someone with this kit tell us if it's feasible to leave out the leg swap? I would like to leave the stock legs, can the new waist piece still be used? Some pics of that would be helpful? Thanks!

I know you can't tab in the new waistpiece because that requires the legs to be bowed out slightly to the side. The new leg parts allow for that movement.

I'm not interested in the waist piece tabs. In my experience with the DNA Prime upgrade kit, breaking the original parts leads only to a weak and wobbly Combiner regardless of any tabs intended to prevent it. Adding more height only makes it worse.

I'm leaning towards leaving Onslaught unmolested and maybe trimming off the tabs so the waist piece will hang ok. Or just keeping the original waist piece.

Now just need to find out if Defensor kits is equally flexible.

Luckily, I managed to fix it by screwing it onto the opposite side. If anyone has the same issue, just tell me and I'll post some pictures.

I'm interested in your pictures. I am on the fence about this kit and any additional info would be appreciated.

Also BrutiKing, does having that part broken affect the stability of the combiner?
