If Toyworld didn't have the head flap and the hollow inner arms he'd be the better of the 2 imo. Proportionally he looks better anyways but I do love that you can have toy style shoulder wheels on this guy.

 

Starting to feel like TW did a better job than MT thanks to the head flap and looking at the comparison TW chest isnt that wide

 

Yeah, that head flap and those forearms ruin what could have been a perfect Jazz. Come on, it's 2018. We can do so much better than that lazy ass garbage these days. So close....

 

The protruding chest is a bit of a turn off. Even the G1 toy found a way to make his chest sit much more in the center of his body mass.

But I think this (plus the lack of reviews and it being a new company) is the only thing holding me back from getting this to replace Downbeat.

I'll second or third or whatever this whole heartedly.

 

His freaking arms stick out farther than his legs in a wide A stance...

 

Wow. The comparison shots from earlier in the week have made my decision for me.

I was worried that I'd have to replace Downbeat. This thing ain't even on the radar any more.

 

Yep still the best option for me, I do like that leg kibble positioning, looks more streamlined than having the rotated. Cant wait for this to land

 

Downbeat owns this (and all of the others). Glad I don't feel the need to buy another replacement.

 

not to long ago i considered Downbeat to be the best but now, i'm not feeling that to be the case anymore, maybe it's the more toon like look of him and my taste for looks have changed a lot. Downbeat so far has the better materials and execution in transformation. Toyworld and T&RO look better and i'm interested in how solid he is compared to the other 2

 

Toyworld should just pull that abomination. Downbeat is good enough to be my MP Jazz. If you haven't gotten Downbeat, then Hova does look good. Hova for a toy representation, Downbeat for a toon representation. Either way, have fun!

This one is the biggest joke in Chinese TF forums now.  
Because people found these 2 characters inside the leg panel "全形", which stands for "全形手艺人".

"全形手艺人" is con artist who scammed lots of TF collector's money on the baidu forum about 1 year ago. He said he had mental illness plus Crohn's Disease, and he was dying... so he asked for follow TF collectors to help him. And lots of people donated money to help a member... And later people found out the truth and banned him from the forum.

Apparently he was also part of the design team of this toy, and according to the post, he also scammed the money from the TR01 Jazz' design team, and even screwed up the computer design document which caused delay. And without anybody noticed, he left his name on the toy....  

 

I can't help but find that hilarious, even if the guy is a scammer.

 

I can't read Chinese so I will have to take your word for it that people are upset about that 'signature' being on Hova. That is some ultimate level trolling though if it's true.

 

I... Wow. I didn't know the delay had such an amusing story behind it. No wonder this ended up being 2 years late. But as much as this guy being a real scammer, he may not even be actually among the development team. Nonetheless, it's a story that makes this figure a little more fascinating

He was, according to the post I linked up there. The story is like this: Someone already did the design, and this scammer ""全形手艺人"" said he can further improve the design by hiding the wings. So the team gave him a computer and some fund, he overwrote the design doc (maybe with some small improvement) and ran away, caused the delay and now the final product even has his name on the leg.

当时厂家公布灰模时是有爵士是有翅膀的，全形主动联系厂家说可以把翅膀收纳，然后瞎改一通把人家图纸坐标轴改坏了，厂家请他走人，他把老妈搬到厂里闹事，厂家没办法给了他六万，结果这厮离开的时候还顺走厂家一台电脑

当初“全形大骗子”接棒上一个设计师继续设计爵士，承诺把爵士背后的两个翅膀设计成可收纳，后来设计没成不说，还仗着“精残”坑了厂家一台电脑和几万块钱。看来当初他在设计里还是夹了私货的

一开始tr放出建模图的时候，比mt惊艳，结果让这个精残给覆盖了。改了就改了吧，还把自己的大名刻在上面，人神共愤！刚准备买一个，看到这两个字马上就劝退了！

I can just imagine his reaction when he got money from them as payment for what he had in mind for ‘improvements’:
