It seems to me that other than having the doors removable (which I guarantee people here will complain about), it's very difficult to figure out what to do with those doors while keeping them intact for the option to extend them.

Personally I'll be very disappointed in any MP Jazz that doesn't allow him to have door wings. I know he didn't have them in the toon (and the current toys are unfortunately very slavish to it)- but the doors are such an iconic part of Jazz in general that the option needs to be there.

I like the way it's been handled here. If somebody solves it better, wonderful. Otherwise I'll gladly take this. He needs the doors.

Maybe a 3rd option where they are removable? That way you can display them, hide them (for those that just can't handle partsforming) or remove them if the kibble bugs you.

it just seems to have odd bot mode design choices - all good compromises I suppose, but I am in the boat where the alt mode looks really nice... maybe that is what they were going for and this is as close to their version of perfect they could achieve? I'd give it a 8/10 for what it is... all we have so far.  



give it a few months, it'll be on everyone's shelves for the most part... and then when TT announces their MP Jazz in a 2 pack with MP Sunstreaker, these will all be available again second-hand on ebay.  

 

I think it looks pretty good, it's undeniably Jazz. The door wing options are a nice touch. As far as the front of the car not touching the ground, it looks more like an error in setting up the assembly in the modeling program before the render than a grievous engineering mistake. If the wheels were level on the floor plane, it wouldn't look so goofy.

 

Wow. Just... Wow. I hope this thing comes to fruition, and is a bit faster than Omni's Spinout.  

 

That looks like the best representation of G1 character yet. Amazing design!

Now I have to believe that Has/tak is someway or another indirectly involved with 3rd party cos. There's just no way Porsche was releasing their license for Jazz (they didn't previously) so 3rd party was the only way to get this out. Maybe even alongside other molds that are being/ have been released.
