I live near St. Louis, MO and have to fly to Botcon this year. I want to bring figures with me so I have trade fodder for room trading. If I pack them in my carry on will I be allowed on the plane or is there some funky no transfomers rule?

    Thanks!

Assuming you don't bring a G1 or masterpiece Megatron then you'll be fine.

Yup. "No transforming gun toys" is actually specified, oddly enough. Other stuff is fine, as long as it fits in your hand luggage. I spent a fair bit of the trip home from Botcon last year fiddling with stuff I'd bought there.

I have flown for many years and to be honest, if you had megatron in robot mode, especially the masterpiece version, but no box, there really is no way for them to tell that he turns into a gun.

G1 Shockwave might be unwise too, other than that you should be okay!

Last year I had bubble wrap in my carry on stuff. Of course, it was in use, keeping my HoS Bumblebee safe, but nothing was asked.
