News Post: Transcript Of Transformers: Rescue Bots Trailer
Entirely speculating: From the looks of it, the show's setting is after the original ending of Transformers: Dark of the Moon (IDW Comic Adaptation Books) where Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are left alone and operating away from other Autobots in peace with the Decepticons. Other "Rescue Bots" arrive on earth to join Optimus Prime in helping humans regarding safety.
My baby boy and I will watch every episode. Gotta start em young.
Although, I doubt a connection with this and the violent dotm
I'll have to check it out, my son is 2 Dec 7th, time to get him in, he already has a few kid variation Transformers, the DOTM Robo Power Go Bots Bumblebee for one, he loves it, it pulls back rolls, and transforms too....I will be looking into the Rescue Bots toys too for him.
Is it wrong to like this Bumblebee's design more than Prime Bumblebees? Because this is the perfect blend of Animated and Bayformers. I hope he talks.
Me too. I really like this design. And I'd like a talking Bumblebee as well. But not a talking Bumblebee like in Transformers Animated (which is a reason why I hate the show). I respect DJW and his work but Transformers: Animated just didn't work for me.
Not gonna' lie, I'm 20 years old...and I will not be ashamed to watch this/be interested in it. I love me my Transformers in all shapes and sizes.
I hope they have Decepticons in this somewhat, I mean not all the time, But atleast put them in it. Make them more child friendly evil though.
Heh pretty cool. My nephew has already taken a great interest in the rescue bot toys commercials, and flipped out when I told him there will be a show of it too. (He's 6) My little 3 year old niece is already in love with TF Prime, I think she will become just as infatuated with Rescue bots. I won't lie, I'll probably watch it with them! 8D
Super Transformers Squad?
I'm finally seeing these items in the stores and wish my nephew wasn't 7..he wants Ultimate Prime now.., these look like lots of fun. I know I'll have to watch the series too.
I wish the toys were as cool as the character designs (or design, rather) look. Instead we get chunky-inaccurate-discolored-bland-grey-yellow-Bee. I know this line is geared at younger kids, but they should have at least SOME form of slightly more complex toys. Not like movie toys, but at least Cyberverse legion-commander level. Oh well, just a pipe dream. Unless of course they run out of ideas in 20 years and remake these guys for CHUG 58.0 or whatever
..................Okay, Hasbro's obviously going backwards to capture infants.
Now how about a more "mature" themed Transformers show...?
Or does Adultswim have this market all to themselves....
I hope it's as good as MLP. Because I really want to like another show on the HUB.
If it does real well maybe we will even get some TF Animated level toys out of it.
Transformers Prime is your mature themed show. I wouldn't expect Hasbro to ever go much further than that.
Personally I'm starting to think Mature= Boring.
The 'Cons would be pretty cool to see in there. But as you said, "child-friendly evil". You know, "Curses! Foiled by the Autobots again!", "I'll get you next time, Optimus Prime!", "We will stop the Decepticons!", "Decepticons, steal that energy generator!". Wait...why does this sound like RID?
How easy they are for little kids is the whole point.
I'm glad to see Transformers go-bots making a comeback. To bad my kids are to old for this now.
Yeah, but they shouldn't make the designs so cool because now I want some show accurate versions
My nephew will love this!
