Wow, to me this looks awful compared to the PE one...

Huh, almost looks like a KO of the original toy with some improvements (retractable cannons, backpack that folds flush against the back, neck articulation in beast mode, arm guards are hinged together rather than spring loaded). Looks good to me considering how "toy accurate" the show model was, wish the beast head matched the CGI closer though.

This is much more show accurate then PE so I'm diggin this. Reminds me of the original official toy but upgraded! Love the shields and proper chest cannons. I hope the build quality is great! Not sure about the scale though, just me or is this kinda short?

Oh you have GOT to be flarking kidding me. :lol

So this one is more of an updated toy version, while PE's looks to be more of a comic version to me.

Is that MP10 it's in scale?

This is the same company who made a tiny Optimus Primal in scale with MP10.

Seems to be a completely new mold, but used the same transformation, and I have no problem with that.

Pretty sure that's Mp10 in the pic. The original toy is just slightly shorter then MP10, almost the same height (head to head)

Looks way better than the PE version. No water baby beast head. Although the shoulders look low... but that could just be posing. Perhaps a show accurate beast head, and Optimal Megatron head would be a huge Plus/ TransArt Toys, get on it!

I'd assume it's just the pose.

I'm still getting the PE version as it fits in better with the newer BW Generations figures I have, AND it looks a whole lot better to me as well.

I would want the smaller toy in Primal Prime colors, for a Universe Wreckers CHUG display.

I'm just happen they are different sizes. We are seeing way too many duplicate toys all in the same size lately (3 different Trailbreakers in the same size in a month!), but at least these two are different sizes.

wow so battle of the Optimal Optimus, why not regular BW Optimus Primal or Big Convoy, how does everyone keep making the same thing at the same time, i'm not saying that options are bad but i'm waiting on a new Nemesis Big Convoy to replace Universe Nemesis Prime, oh well if one of these goes dark repaint, i'll pick that ver. up

I'm glad we're getting more BW love from companies but I wish they would focus on other figures that need an update besides Optimal Optimus.

Transart Toys already released a regular BW Optimus Primal.

Perfect effects looks a lot better to me. This things looks to be just a mildly altered version of the original. I'd rather see a third party take on dragon Megs, transmetal 2 Dinobot or transmetal Optimus Primal.

Kinda hilarious this guy is the exact perfect scale to g1 mps, but I'm already amazed to see another opop as is. Kinda love the size tho cause it means he is not in direct competition to PE's since he's like half the size of theirs which also means he'll be way cheaper. So yay a small opop! hope it turns out good.

Yeah, these two are not even in competition with each other, as they are two completely different size classes. TransArt is scaled to MP10, while Perfect Effect is scale to Beast Wars toys. They both look like fine toys. So just pick your size class.
