figure is good in protoform and both altmodes, the trnasscanning botmode sucks a lot, cause you see car parts twice! 2 fronts of the car, bad!

I was really excited to get this guy when it released...then once I got it all assembled, I was really underwhelmed. He's ALL balljoints, there's like 7000 of them, and they were all loose on mine. The alt mode looks great, but not as great as HA 'Bee, and it's smaller and more expensive. And the bot mode is pretty weak. The duplicate front fenders aren't a huge deal, but they look silly on an already silly looking bot mode.

Ultimately, if you want a dainty little 'Bee with a nice Alt mode, go for it, but otherwise, I'd pass. TS Prime, on the otherhand, looks good.

I HIGHLY recommend looking up the reviews of the TransScanning Prime and/or Bumbebee on YouTube. I saved myself some serious coin doing that...TransScanning is a neat idea, but horribly executed...

They're unique, and neat for what they are, but as someone else said, somewhat poorly executed. I think Prime is a bit better than BB, but bot modes are compromised on both. I think it's telling that we're not seeing them this time around; as I understand it, they shelfwarmed pretty hard in Japan.

I suppose I give them some leeway because it's the first time such a thing was done. Maybe we'll see the concept again down the road.
