awww, they're "directors cut", which means they butchered the episodes for no real reason.

the quality on these are great. I think the only editing was mostly removing commercials and credits at the beginning and end.

I've only watched the 1st ep so far, but it seems like they tried to cut out as much action and characterization as they could get away with without totally losing the plot.

And it's not like plot was G1's strong point.

    ???

They've edited out a whole lot more than that. I've not watched these in several years and there is some serious butchering going on here. Im not sure if anyone watching it is going to be able to follow whats going on. Parts are almost incoherent. It makes me really sad that this is all Hasbro has for representing G1.:(  Its cool that they kinda have episodes online, but they're butchered pretty badly.

Bumblebee, Wheeljack, Soundwave and the jets were completely edited out of the first part on cybertron.

    Serious butchering going on.

They weren't. What's the point of telling the story of the Transformers when you're going to leave out all the good parts and confuse people? (The show itself does pretty well on it's own)

Man, webisodes is soooo misleading. I was thinking at first, OH they made new online only G1 eps?!?!?! Then click it, and it's the G1 toon from back in the day.

Guess that's my bad though, something that wasn't on the web in it's initial release I don't call a webisode.

I had to wonder what was up when the running time only showed 12min for the G.I. Joe episode I was downloading when most shows run around 20-22 mins without commericals.

I think Hasbro is just wasting alot of time and money by doing this.
